Sunrise of Edgewater was awesome! The Director and coordinators were super helpful. Only downside is small room.

"Mice Infestation at Poorly Managed Senior Living Facility"
Sunrise of Edgewater, an assisted living facility, is overrun with mice! They're scampering down the halls and infesting residents' apartments. It's nasty! Residents have voiced their concerns, but their complaints go ignored. Management's only response is, 'the exterminator is on the way.' All the while, the executive director turns a deaf ear to complaints, choosing to laugh in the hallways with other managers instead. If I had the option, I wouldn't even give this facility a single star. It's a poorly managed mess!

"Enjoyable Visit"
We visited this place, and everyone was nice to us. The place was clean, and everything looked well taken care of. The staff helped us and gave us good information. We found another place that suited my husband better, but we still enjoyed our visit here.

"Friendly staff and great care in a convenient location."
The staff here is friendly and caring, and the facility is clean and modern. The number of staff compared to residents is good. My mother is well taken care of, and I'm glad I chose this place. It's very close to where I live on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. My cousin’s family member has lived here for a year, so we got a strong positive recommendation before choosing this facility.

"A Great Choice for Our Family"
The staff here are super friendly and caring. The place is clean and modern. They have a good number of staff for the patients. My mom is well taken care of. I'm glad I picked this place. It's easy for me to visit her since I live on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. My cousin's family member has been here for a year, so we had a great recommendation before choosing.

I went to check out this place, and it seemed pretty nice. The rooms I saw were a bit bigger than the one we picked. The person who showed me around was friendly. But, I felt cozier with the other community we checked out.

I visited this place while searching for care for family. The place was clean and nice. The people who work there were friendly and seemed good at their jobs. We chose a different place because it was cheaper, but this was one we thought about.

"Beautiful but pricey; staff friendly but over budget."
During the tour, the place looked super nice and all, and the people working there were really friendly. But when we checked out the cost, it was way higher than other places we checked, and it was way out of what we could afford.

"Mixed feelings about assisted living facility; small rooms, inviting lounges."
This place was clean, but the rooms were really tiny, and they didn't have full kitchens. It costs over $4000 per month for a tiny studio. The lounge areas looked nice and comfy. I wasn't too happy with the food options; it felt like they only had limited diner food. I think I need to check out more places before deciding.

"Assisted Living Facility Review: Salesperson Concerns and Dim Atmosphere"
The person we talked to made me nervous (not Amy). I felt like if Mom got upset, they'd send her to a psych ward for medicine. They don't have water views anymore and won't do respite stays. The place seemed too dim for a Sunrise, and the residents didn't seem happy. It's close to Mom, but we don't think she'd be happy there. They did take good care of their birds, though.

"Convenient Location and Great Amenities in Assisted Living Facility"
This place is so pretty and has lots of fun things to do. They take good care of you and are close to where I work. The only problems are that it costs a lot and it might be hard to get a spot for my mom quickly.
