"Great Staff and Fun Activities!"
We moved our loved one to Sunrise of Randolph, and it’s been great. The staff is fantastic, and the activities get a 10!

"Attentive nurses, nice place; recommended for families seeking care."
The head nurses paid close attention to our needs, the facility is really nice, and we think other families would like it too.

"Good impression, knowledgeable staff; preferred smaller Sunrise over larger one."
I had a good overall impression of the community. The staff who gave the tour were knowledgeable and answered all my questions. We visited both Sunrise locations nearby. They were quite similar, but Sunrise of Randolph was larger. There was nothing wrong with that; we just preferred the smaller Sunrise location a bit more.

"Chose Sunrise for familiarity, good care, but communication on needs lacked."
Sunrise of Randolph was our choice due to familiarity and nice staff. The care was good for my mom initially, but she needed more support later. It would have been better if they informed us earlier about their limitations. Overall, I'd suggest them to other families.

"Friendly Staff, But Move-In and Setup Was Challenging"
The people working here are really nice, but we couldn't see the inside because of some rules. They also stopped all the fun stuff. The hardest part was moving our family member in and getting her room ready. Setting up the TV and phone was tough. We had to do a lot more than we thought we would.

"Covid Restrictions Impact Assisted Living Community"
Because of Covid restrictions, we can’t join activities, dine together, or watch movies. But it’s not the community’s fault.

"Unreliable Facility, Dismal Communication, and Broken Promises"
Rethink sending a loved one with aggressive tendencies to the memory care unit of this place. I know of 5 individuals who were either asked directly or indirectly to leave. It's not the best choice, especially during Covid-19. Contacting this place is a nightmare. Most of the time, they don't call back or respond to your emails. If you ask the same question to 4 different people on the staff, you'll get 4 different answers. Don't expect to get the services you were promised in the beginning or what you're paying for.

"Friendly Staff and Pleasant Atmosphere, with Room for Improvement"
Sunrise of Randolph community is a bit more expensive, but the staff is wonderful. We wish they could encourage our loved one more to eat and finish meals in the dining hall. Some activities she enjoyed were live music and arts and crafts. When we first visited, we liked how friendly the staff was. It has a nice, pleasant atmosphere, and the building looks very appealing.

""High Prices, Poor Services Mar Mother's Experience at Sunrise Facility""
Mom's care suffered due to a management switch at the assisted living facility. We believe this made her miss out on needed services. The place was very clean and the workers were polite, but some of the games and activities were not right for some of the elders. When Mom first moved there, they didn't have someone leading activities. We found the charges at Sunrise Of Randolph to be too high, although Mom's apartment was lovely. We were hoping the community and staff would be more involved with her.

"Friendly Tour of Spacious, Pet-Friendly Community"
We liked this community when we took our tour. The person that showed us around was friendly. This is a bigger community with many floors. They allow pets and seem to have nice amenities. They take good care of the grounds and the buildings. We chose a different community that was closer to our family.

"Disappointing Practices at Assisted Living Facility"
The place looks good, but their requirements for moving in are ridiculous. You're hit with a 3800 dollar fee and you have to move in on your own. They don't even offer you a copy of the contract, plus they charge you even if you're not there. I'm really let down with that and it seems like they are just there to grab money.

"Cozy Haven: Smiles, Cleanliness, and a Sweet Pet Buddy!"
I've only been at this place for less than a week, but it's been pretty good. It feels like home with friendly people and lots of stuff to do. Plus, everything is really clean and taken care of. The staff is super nice, and they even have a pet named Buddy who is really sweet.

"Friendly and clean facility, chose another Sunrise one!"
I visited this place when I was checking out where to take care of someone I care about. The place was neat and tidy, and everyone who worked there that I met was nice and seemed like they knew what they were doing. We ended up picking a different Sunrise place, but I was impressed with both of them.

"Mixed experience; Active assisted living, lackluster memory care"
The assisted living section was really nice. People there were active and engaged. But the memory care part wasn’t as good. There were about 20 people there, but they were all just watching TV. The staff seemed busy but didn’t interact much with the residents. The whole place was clean and didn’t smell like a hospital, which was good.

"Sunrise: Welcoming, but Limited Medicaid Coverage; Furniture Required"
Sunrise had cool stuff like a hair salon and baking area, which seniors would like. I visited on a Saturday afternoon and saw their floor plans. They said you need to bring your own furniture. That could mean getting new furniture for my mom, which is kinda good and kinda bad. The place felt cozy, but my mom would probably stick to her room mostly. I would've considered Sunrise, but they don't accept both types of Medicaid. That wouldn't work for my mom long term if she needed to stay for a while. I didn't want her to move again when her money ran out.

"Good-looking place, but not the right spot for us."
This place looked nice, and we liked it when we visited. We were thinking about it for my in-laws, but it wasn't in the right place for us. Plus, another place gave us a good deal.

"Second Choice"
If we hadn’t found a better community, this might have been our choice. The staff was friendly and professional, but the price wasn’t as appealing. We didn’t feel as good here, and they had no available rooms.

"Grateful for the caring staff"
They took great care of my father and did a good job. The facility had more rooms and focused more on maintaining the residents rather than inspiring or entertaining them. My dad was always clean, and the place was spotless. However, they often let the residents in memory care sleep in chairs and didn't offer much entertainment for them, although there was more downstairs. It was known as the best place in the county, and they even sent their top staff to help other facilities improve. I wasn't very impressed with the new managers, so as a family, we bonded directly with the staff. We showed our appreciation by bringing food and treats on holidays and special occasions to let them know how much we valued their care.

"Well-maintained assisted living with various amenities, higher cost than competitor."
This place is really nice and it's newer than some others. But there aren't as many private suites for couples compared to Mt. Arlington. Inside, it looks nice and there are lots of places for everyone to hang out or do stuff together. The rooms for just one person are kept in good shape, and the staff are pros. They've got a good plan for fires and the place is secure for everyone who lives there. They have three levels of care: one for helping out, one for nursing, and one for people with really bad memory problems. Each level has its own level of security. It costs more to live here than at Mt. Arlington. They don't give rides to the doctors you already have unless they're close by. But they have doctors nearby if you want to switch.
