"Chelsea: Great Staff and Fun Activities!"

I really like the Chelsea. The staff is great, and they have a fantastic activity room with lots of fun things to do.

"Recommend with Advocacy for Loved Ones"

This place is really nice, but like most places, you should visit often and speak up for your loved one. The staff is spread thin in the late evening. Overall, I would suggest The Chelsea at Bridgewater to others who are searching.

"Inconsistent Care and Communication at Assisted Living Facility"

The workers are nice, but they need more help. It's not fair to pay so much if they can't find enough workers. For example, my family member should get showers 2-3 times a week. Because they're short staffed, sometimes she misses a week or only gets one. It's hard to reach the workers there. They don't call back quickly. They also lost some of my family member's clothes and put them in her closet. They didn't tell her they were there, so she looked for them for a week. She likes it there and has made some friends. She also leads a prayer group.

"Good experience, recommend to others."

We've had a good experience so far the building is nice, rooms spacious. Elevators need upgrading, and online billing could improve. We recommend The Chelsea at Bridgewater to other families.

"Lacking Cleanliness: Not Suitable for Loved Ones"

I visited this place and it wasn't as tidy as others. The staff was nice, but it wasn't clean, even the elevator corners. Not right for our loved one.

"Poor Management and Care at Assisted Living Facility"

A relative of mine used to live here but left. I can't endorse this place. The current manager is in over her head and is damaging the facility's good name. The staff doesn't show kindness and fails to do their work. If you're looking for any kind of care, this isn't the right place. Don't bother asking the receptionist for help, she's impolite to visitors and residents and doesn't offer any assistance. It seems like the residents are always drowsy, always sleeping in their wheelchairs at all times. I wouldn't feel at ease having a family member live here, I wish my relative had left earlier.

"Disappointed with Assisted Living Facility Tour"

Our family went to see the assisted living place ourselves, and we were really let down. It wasn’t good at all. The woman showing us around only took us to see the assisted living part. We had to ask ourselves if we could see where the people with memory issues lived. When we got there, they were all just sitting in the art room. There wasn’t any paper, nothing to draw with, no music playing, and the TV was off. They were all just sitting there, and we really didn’t think that was okay.

"More Caregiver Oversight Needed"

They should have more caregivers watching over things.

"Overpriced Care Facility Ignored Elderly Woman's Fall"

At first, this place seemed like the perfect fit for our mom. They hooked us with a nice "deal" early on. But after adding on charges for medicines and extra care needed, the price shot up by 50%. We kept getting bills that only went up and up until they were more than twice what we started out paying. Finally, we had enough and decided to move mom somewhere else. The last straw was when we saw an elderly woman from the memory care section fall down, bump her head, and climb to her feet. It's important to note, the staff didn't do anything about this.

"Diverse, Friendly Staff and Great Activities Highly Satisfied"

The most diverse group of residents out of all the places I visited. Everyone is super friendly. The leaders really care and do extra to help. The activities are awesome. Overall, I'm really happy with my experience so far.

"Assisted Living with Great Outdoor Dining and Friendly Staff"

This place is really nice. They have outdoor dining areas, which is cool. Plus, there are lots of men here, which our family likes. It's close to our family, and they let family members stay overnight. The staff is super friendly and seem to care a lot. But, they don't have nurses to give out certain meds, so we have to get them prepackaged from the pharmacy, which ends up costing us a bunch more each month.

"Mixed Experience at Dad's Assisted Living Facility"

My dad stays at this place, and it's clean and nice. When we arrived, they were really helpful. The food is tasty, and he gets choices. I appreciate that it's away from a busy road. He participates in activities every day. But, we had a fire drill once, and we asked three different workers what to do, and none of them knew. I think the boss should have a meeting before drills to help residents.

"Dad Is Content Here"

My dad lives in this community, and it's nice and clean. When we arrived, they were very attentive. The food is good, with plenty of options. I appreciate that it's away from a busy street. My dad participates in daily activities. However, during a fire drill, none of the staff knew what to do. I suggest the director hold a meeting before drills to guide residents.

"A Caring Place with Great Support for Mom"

The staff here has been really supportive and caring. My mom came in with dementia, but she could still walk on her own and mostly take care of herself. As her needs changed and she needed help with showering, dressing, and using a walker, the staff let me know, and we made the needed changes. The only thing my mom wished for was more helpers who spoke English as their first language, as she sometimes had trouble understanding those with accents or limited vocabulary. But other than that, she has loved all the staff.

"Poor Care and Inattentive Staff at Chelsea"

We really didn't have a good time with The Chelsea. My family member stayed there for a bit, but the care got so poor we just had to relocate him. It feels like they don't have enough helpers, and the ones they do have don't pay lots of attention. I'd see lots of them just using their phones when I'd drop by. I don't suggest you take your family here.

"Terrible! Staff is Utterly Mean!"

The top bosses at this place are VERY mean and disrespectful. I wouldn't feel good about leaving my loved one there.

"She’s thrilled with her new home!"

We’re really happy with this community! It’s a nice, clean place, and everyone here—residents and staff—has been super friendly. They’ve really made her feel at home, and she loves it here. She even got nominated as the Valentine’s Queen for the Day, which made her really happy. We looked at a lot of places, and this one had the best mix of room types, amenities, and location for the price. I’d definitely suggest checking it out if you’re looking for a place.
