"Facility Lacks Proper Dementia Care and Staffing"
If your family member is at all difficult, don't choose this place for dementia care. They can only manage calm patients. They only have four helpers for over thirty people on one floor. They group everyone into one room and do some activities. The old activity coordinator was really good but he's gone. There's a lot of staff leaving and coming here. If your family member needs extra help, they expect you to pay for another aide. They'll keep calling you almost daily for assistance, or send the patient to the hospital. My family member has dementia behavior and they couldn't handle it. In the six months my family member was there, they were sent out more than ten times. It was terrible. Be careful, they seem nice but they don't know how to properly provide dementia care.

"Lovely Place, But Not Quite the Right Fit"
We visited this place while searching for care for our family member. It looked nice, clean, and the staff were friendly. The care seemed good too. However, we didn't think the vibe would suit our loved one. It felt a bit fancier than what we think she'd like.

The staff here is really nice and caring. My loved one had some trouble getting used to the place, but the staff is watching out for them and handling it well.

"Memory care with lovely entrance, spacious rooms, and engaging activities"
Memory care at this facility is located in the older section of the building. When I visited, there was a man playing the banjo, which added to the welcoming atmosphere. One standout feature is the huge yard where residents can enjoy outdoor activities. The new director seems very proactive, with lots of activities planned for the residents. Every Monday, residents go on outings in the facility's bus to various places. The rooms are a good size and have large windows, creating a bright and airy feel. The unit is secure with locked doors, but family members can visit Mom anytime.
