"Veteran Blasts Assisted Living For Lack of Variety & Care"
Every day, all we get for breakfast are boring scrambled eggs and sausage. It seems like nobody cares about our preferences! I am a retired marine Vietnam veteran and I am highly thinking about leaving. Things get worse here with each passing day. If you're courageous enough, give me a call.

"Neglect, Inadequate Care and Mockery at Assisted Living Facility"
We felt misled by the management here, who assured us they could take care of our mom who has dementia, just like a memory care center. This turned out to be false. The place didn't have enough staff, and in the time our mom stayed there, she hardly ever saw the same face twice. The help came from an outside company and knew nothing about our mom or how to care for her. In fact, most didn't even know she had dementia or that she needed help with everything she did every day. It would often take them half an hour to an hour to respond to the emergency button, sometimes they didn't even show up. My mom even got lost once when she tried to find the dining room by herself, and the employees thought it was funny. We visited her every day and were distressed by the state we'd find her in. The main boss was always gone, on family leave, and the head nurse didn't seem to get what our issues were. We finally left when my mom ended up in the hospital with pneumonia. They did give us a refund and said they were sorry.

Our loved one, who usually eats frozen dinners, seems to enjoy the meals here. The staff are friendly, the place is clean, and they manage my father's personality well. Overall, I would recommend it to other families. However, the cost of these places is very high, making it difficult to determine their value.

"Loved one enjoys close nurse access and meals; communication improving."
Our loved one likes being next to the nurses' station, helpful for her vision loss. She's enjoying the meals they prepare. We've had some issues with miscommunication about her care level, but they're working on fixing it, which we appreciate.

"Great location, comfortable rooms, and fun activities."
We chose this place because it offers double assist and is close to us. The room sizes are comfortable. Our favorite part is the activities for different residents. I would recommend Voorhees Senior Living.

"Personalized tour highlights amenities and resident engagement at assisted living facility"
The tour was personalized with our names on a board in the lobby, which was nice. We also received a gift bag with a carrot cake dessert at the end. During the tour, we saw different room options. It was interesting when a resident in the elevator insisted on showing us his room, which we appreciated. Seeing many people in wheelchairs emphasized that this was an assisted living facility. If we decide on assisted living, we would consider this place.
