Supportive Care at the Neighborhood in Rio Rancho: Assisted Living & Memory Care

"Reliable Maintenance and Stellar Housekeeping at The Neighborhood"
The maintenance team at The Neighborhood in Rio Rancho is very good at fixing things quickly when there's a problem. They respond fast and make sure everything gets fixed properly the first time. The housekeeping staff is excellent. They come on time every two weeks to clean the apartments. They clean the bathrooms and kitchen, vacuum, dust, and mop the floors. While they clean, we get to go out and enjoy ourselves!

"Good Community, Not Perfect Fit"
We liked this community, but it didn’t quite meet our needs for our loved one at the time.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
At the end, they were amazing during hospice, but before that, they faced challenges. Being short-staffed meant she didn't receive the necessary attention and care.

"Spacious Memory Care with Excellent Staff-to-Resident Ratio"
This place is big. I really liked the memory apartments. They're big and have nice furniture. The people who live here can go outside and stay in the shade. There are 5 staff for every 1 resident. Right now, there's no waiting list.

"Lackluster Care and Unprofessionalism at Luxury Rehab Facility"
This critique is for the rehab section of the nursing home. If you're hoping for top-notch, skilled, compassionate care, or help with any daily tasks in this supposedly high-end place, you will be disappointed. They're good at settling you in, but it all goes downhill after that. They have enough staff around all the time, but, sadly, not enough to give you the proper care you need to get better and leave. They kept my mother-in-law's door shut almost all the time. They're really keeping an eye on things... It took them over half an hour every single time to get to her. This includes accidents that could've been stopped. The way they act and their professionalism is a slap in the face, especially when you consider what their job is. This goes for the managers too. I hope the Department of Health intervenes and makes the company train their rehab staff and team all over again. Talk to your doctors/family members before you decide to go there.
