"Mixed Feelings at Montebello"
We visited Montebello while looking for a place for our loved one. The facility was decent, and the tour went well. However, it felt too much like a hospital.

"Montebello Ignored Us and Our Complaints!"
Montebello was truly awful for us. Despite numerous attempts to reach out and have our problems fixed, we got nothing. Not even the Head bothered to return our calls!

"Friendly Staff, High Cost: No Pets Allowed""
We visited the community, and it was really nice. The tour went well, and the staff was super friendly. Our only problem was that the cost was too high, and they don't allow pets.

"Unpleasant Experience and Rude Staff at The Montebello"
Our time at The Montebello wasn't good, and I wouldn't suggest them. We faced problems with the workers being mean and not nice to my family member. I've heard the same thing from friends, so it wasn't only us.

"Quality Matters at Montebello Assisted Living"
It doesn’t matter how much a facility costs or where it’s located. What truly matters is the quality of the people working there. At Montebello, there are awesome RNs and CNAs, but also some not-so-great ones who shouldn’t be caring for seniors. My mother is in Skilled Nursing, and my father is in an Independent living apartment. It’s great having them in the same place with individual care. However, families still need to be very hands-on for good care.

"Unpleasant Odor Mars Assisted Living Experience"
For the most part, it's a nice place, but the cleanliness falls short considering the cost. There are different sections: a retirement community, which is okay, and the assisted living area where my mom stayed, which wasn't great. The biggest issue is the unpleasant smell when you walk in.

"Great Independent Living, Disappointing Assisted Living"
My mom stayed in the independent living part for 8 years, and I thought it was great. The place is high quality and very well maintained. It was built solidly and kept up beautifully. My mother-in-law also lived there for about 8 years. We liked the independent living a lot. But the assisted living felt more like a hospital room, and neither my mom nor my mother-in-law liked it much.

"Highly Recommended Assisted Living with Comprehensive Care and Amenities"
We're moving my dad there tomorrow. We've visited and believe they'll take good care of him. If he likes it, he can stay because they have all the facilities he needs. It's clean, the staff is friendly, and it's very nice. They provide everything my dad might need, and having available rooms is important. They meet all the criteria we were advised to consider: friendly, knowledgeable staff, and everything seems well-organized. We checked the ratings and felt this was the best choice for us, especially if he needs that level of care, so he won't need to move again, especially for the skilled nursing care he'll need after leaving the hospital.

"Mixed Feelings About Size"
The facility offers all services, but it might be too large.
