"Disappointing Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
During our tour, they seemed nice, but later, disappointment hit. They said we should be daughters, not caregivers, and promised familial care. However, they left my father in dirty clothes. It seemed they lacked enough staff or the existing staff didn't care. Even when my sister and her husband visited, Dad wasn't a priority. Overall, a terrible experience for us all.

"Affordable and Convenient, Could Improve Food Options, Recommend to Others"
We picked this place because it's not too expensive and it's close by. I wish they had more healthy food options. I would probably tell other people about it.

"Caring Staff but Limited Activities, Recommend for Families"
We really like the Desert Springs Senior Living community because the staff is super caring and thoughtful. However, the activities they offer could use some improvement; there aren't enough for the residents. Overall, based on our experience so far, we would suggest this community to other families.

"Assisted Living Review: Mixed Experience with Staff and Communication"
In this assisted living facility, some aspects were positive, like the cleaning staff, but overall, communication issues and an unhelpful front desk guy made it less pleasant. If you have other options, consider those instead.

"Disappointing experience; chose elsewhere due to lack of assistance."
The tour at Desert Springs was sad. No assistants seen. Hard parking. Not pretty as expected. Chose another community. Tour guide nice, but seemed unexpectant of approval.

"Poor Management Leads to Employee Exodus and Neglected Residents"
I'm leaving. Since the new boss, most staff quit. Many residents leaving too. Food's bad (I have pics). Rents up 5%, spent on lobby furniture. No maintenance, more furniture bought. Refused to paint. Calls our places "rooms" like it's cheap. Employees' hours cut, less pay, more furniture bought. Can't wait to leave. Concerned for others. Expect rent hikes.

"Needs Improvement"
Recently, the assisted living facility changed management and started renovations. Unfortunately, they also raised prices for care and rent. The food quality is subpar, often relying on frozen meals without fresh vegetables. I wouldn’t eat it myself, so I bring groceries for my mother. The staff lacks attention to detail, as seen when they replaced my mother’s damaged blinds with ill-fitting ones.

"Disappointing Experience at Desert Springs Assisted Living"
Our family visited Desert Springs for a tour. The lady guiding us was friendly. But the atmosphere felt unwelcoming and the place wasn't clean. It wasn't right for us. Plus, it was tough to reach them. Communication wasn't great.

"Disappointed Experience at Desert Springs Assisted Living"
I didn't like Desert Springs much. It seemed really old and smelled funny as soon as we entered. The staff were alright, but it wasn't for us.

"Comfortable and Clean Assisted Living with Great Staff and Activities"
Desert Springs is an older building, but it's clean. The staff members were great while our loved one was there. The dining service was good, and there were lots of activities for the residents. We thought the value for everything they offered was very good. We would recommend this community to other families.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living"
I visited this place, and it was nice. The building is older but really clean. The staff were all friendly. My only concern was that the unit was far from the main area, making it less convenient for my mom. So, we decided to continue our search.
