"Friendly Staff and Positive Experience"

We can’t say much about the activities since my mom didn’t join any. But we really appreciate the friendly and helpful employees at Oakmont of The Lakes. Based on our experience so far, we’d recommend this community to other families.

"Convenient and accommodating assisted living facility"

I can visit the facility anytime, day or night, and she can smoke there. I would recommend it to others.

"Entertainment Fee Disappoints; Art Activities Lacking"

They charge a big fee for entertainment, but it mostly goes to singers and party food. Not enough art activities as promised, and no avocados—salads are basic.

I highly recommend this place to families exploring options. The staff is very kind, and I haven't had any issues. They offer many activities, including trips to grocery stores, shopping centers, and pharmacies. Onsite, they have bingo, card games, and outdoor entertainment. They also host weekly visitors like storytellers, musicians, and singers. They keep everyone informed with printed calendars.

"Almost Like Resort Living"

This place was gorgeous! The interior resembles a resort, with well-designed landscaping featuring a beautiful water fountain surrounded by lovely bushes and trees. There's even a gazebo with a table and chairs for private meals. Inside, it's welcoming and the residents and staff seem friendly and happy. We had a wonderful meal during our tour, and they offer plenty of activities.

"Very Happy with Atria Sunlake!"

We are very happy with Atria Sunlake. The community is clean, welcoming, and has a nice open feel. The staff is always friendly and easy to find. Everyone we pass in the hallways is warm and kind. The administrator knows residents and their families by name, which feels personal. My loved one really enjoys the meals, and there are always plenty of activities—at least four or five each day. I’d definitely recommend Atria Sunlake.

"Warm Community with Helpful Staff and Great Amenities!"

My family member just moved to this place not long ago, and they're still getting used to it. The people who work here are really nice and are doing their best to help her feel comfortable. She likes the food a lot, and they have things to do every day. The place itself is really nice and looks like it's taken care of well.

"My Visit"

This place seemed nice during my visit. The staff were friendly and helpful. The kitchen only opens for meals, though. It’s a bit farther than we wanted.

My mom and dad really enjoy their stay at this community. They are comfortable and in a peaceful environment. They offer a variety of meals with healthy options. They have also been joining activities and enjoying the company of other residents.

"They were great!"

It was a wonderful place for my dad. Everything went great. We had to move him because the level of care changed. The staff did their best to provide care for him. I wish we could have kept him there.

"Much Disappointment and Extra Charges, Wouldn't Recommend"

My time in this place was pretty rough. They promised me loads of things but never kept their word. They kept hiking up my bill for no reason. They don't even have any cleaning services. My room was always a mess. On top of that, they charged more just to take my dog out for walks, which only ever lasted for 2 minutes. I wouldn't tell anyone I know to live here.

"A Very Positive Experience"

My mother is doing great and she really likes this community. She has adjusted well, and I am pleased. The community is nice looking and very clean. The staff is wonderful. There are many activities for her to choose from, and she is getting involved. They just got a new chef to improve the food quality. Everything has worked out very well, and I would recommend it.

My loved one really enjoys it here. The place is beautiful and feels like a resort. The people are nice, and the food is great. They offer a lot of activities. It’s quite pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for.

"Friendly and Active Assisted Living with Great Value"

I really enjoy Atria Sunlake. If my family member used everything they offer, it would be worth it. However, she spends most of her time in her room. The staff is really nice and tries hard to involve her. They have lots of fun things to do and places to go. Overall, I think it's a wonderful spot.

"Decent care but slow response times with limited staff"

They’re pretty good, but they don’t always have enough help. My dad recently broke his arm and tripped over oxygen tubing. His care plan needed to be updated, which costs an extra each month. They’re supposed to reach his room within 8 minutes, but they are taking the full 8 minutes. I asked if they could get to him faster since he doesn’t want to use the call button, but they said they still have 8 minutes.

They are very friendly at Atria Sunlake. They get feedback from residents and really work with them. My parents are there and very happy.

"Very Nice Looking Place, but Expensive"

I toured this community while looking into care options for a loved one. It was a nice-looking place, well-kept and clean, and the staff seemed friendly and professional. However, it was very expensive. We chose another community, but this would have been a good option.

My dad stayed at Atria Sunlake for just over a month before he passed away. Although my experience was limited, I found it to be a very pleasant place with friendly staff who provided excellent care.

I'm very happy with Atria Sunlake! The place is well-kept, and the staff is super friendly. I'm pleased with the services—they offer lots of activities and entertainment. I haven't heard any complaints about the food, either. So far, everything's going great, and there's nothing I think needs improvement.

"Assisted living facility offers neat environment, varied activities, decent food."

They do a really good job keeping the place clean. The nurses are great. The doctor's assistant sometimes takes a while to get back to you, and he doesn't always show up when he says he will. They have a lot of stuff to do, but it seems like it's more for women. The food is okay, but it can be hit or miss depending on the day, at least for him. What's cool about the food is if you don't like what they're serving that day, you can always get something else. I'd say the food is a four. Overall, it's been a good experience. They have a lot of chances to hang out and do stuff together. They have gatherings in the main area at least twice a week. You can join in or not, it's up to you.

"Very nice place with welcoming staff"

This was a very nice place, and my husband and I felt it would be our top choice for assisted living when we need it. The staff was friendly and welcoming during our tour, and the building looked great. It's a little out of the way, though, so we would need to plan for transportation if we chose to live here.

"Huge Apartments, But Missing Key Amenities"

The apartments here were bigger than Seville's, but it didn't feel like a good fit. We're Jewish, and they didn't have Friday night services. Also, the location wasn't the best for us. By the way, the apartments are gigantic. It's not a walk-in closet like she wanted, but the apartments are huge.
