"Great Place for Families: Atria Park of Lynbrook Review"

Overall, I think Atria Park of Lynbrook is a good choice for families looking for assisted living.

"Billing issues persist, communication lacking; not recommend for respite care."

My husband stayed at Atria Park of Lynbrook for respite care in the memory care unit. However, even after he left, we faced ongoing problems with billing. I had to reach out to the CEO to finally resolve the issue. When I contacted the facility, they claimed they were unaware of the issues. Based on our experience, I would not suggest Atria Park of Lynbrook to others seeking similar services. They need to implement significant procedural changes.

"Lackluster Supervision and Communication at Assisted Living Facility"

My family member doesn't stay here anymore. The staff doesn't keep a close eye on the senior citizens living here like they should. The meals were alright. The management needs to get better at talking to people and calling them back. They don't really do what they say they will. It's an okay place if seniors can take care of themselves. But if they require extra help, it's not the greatest place. The facility is kept very clean though. 'A Place for Mom' was great from the start.

"Assisted Living: Active Residents and Fresh Food Efforts"

They could make the food better and add fresh veggies. They do try to keep residents active with activities and interact with them.

"Pleasant Visit, Not Ideal for Memory Care"

We visited this place, and it was pleasant! Unfortunately, it wasn't right for our memory care needs. Still, it seemed like a wonderful spot!

"Clean and Caring Facility with Room for Food Improvement"

This place is nice and good for parents who want to spend their last years somewhere that takes care of them all the time. The person who runs the place does a great job. They should cook the food right there because they have the equipment. The food they serve now is processed and not healthy for the people who live there. But I get that it's hard to do better with staffing and getting supplies.

"Nice tour but disorganized due to construction"

Our family took a tour in person. It was nice, but they were in the middle of construction, so things were a little disorganized.

"Billing Issues Impact Overall Experience"

Our loved one feels much better since moving there. She stays active, and the place is very clean. The meals are usually good, and they're flexible if she doesn't like something. But the billing has been a problem. They want to charge more for care she doesn't need.

"Compassionate Care: Review of Happy Days Assisted Living"

My dad stayed here and the staff took great care of him. They were really kind and caring.

"Miscommunication on staffing and assistance, cleanliness and food satisfactory."

We're working out some confusion regarding what was promised versus what's actually provided. The salesperson told me there were three registered nurses available for residents, but that's not true. When my mom had trouble breathing, they said they could only assess her and decide if an ambulance was necessary by law. They wouldn't check her blood pressure or temperature. I had to lift her into a wheelchair alone and take her to her room. There was a distressing incident where a man fell, and they didn't try to help him; they just waited for the ambulance. Overall, I give it four stars. The place is clean, the food is good, and the staff is friendly. We picked it because it's close to family and affordable, but now I'm doubting our choice. It seems better suited for independent residents who rarely need assistance

"Great Place with a Caring Staff"

The Atria Lynbrook is super clean, and my mom's room looks great. All the staff are friendly, always around, and super professional. They answer all my questions. The food is awesome, with a daily menu and a backup menu, and they serve just the right portions for seniors. There are lots of regular activities like bingo, exercise classes, and arts and crafts, but I think they could use more entertainment like music. I'd totally recommend Atria to my friends and family.

"Mixed Impressions"

This place is old and feels dark. The elevator isn't great, and some rooms have odd shapes. The community seemed inactive during my visit, but the tour guide was friendly.

"Supportive Staff Welcoming Residents with Care and Encouragement"

I really like how the staff here have treated my loved one since she moved in. They welcomed her warmly and even brought some other residents to her room so she could meet them. They're also helping her join activities during the day because she's finding it hard to adjust. Friends and family can always visit and even join in on activities and meals with their loved one.

"Temporary Stay Review"

My sister stayed here briefly after rehab. She had okay meals and stayed on the 3rd floor. It was just for a short while.

"Disappointed: We Left Before Tour Even Started"

Unhappily, my sisters and I left before the tour. We weren't greeted by anyone and we didn't see any residents. The facility lacked outdoor space and the parking was lacking. Overall, we weren't pleased.

"Post-Move-In Support Lacks, Otherwise Nice Facilities"

Overall, Atria Lynbrook seems pretty good. The rooms and facilities are nice and clean. It took some time for my loved one to adjust, but she's settled and happy now. She says the food is tasty! However, I've noticed a lack of customer service since she moved in. Before, they were always reaching out offering help, but now it feels like they've forgotten about us. They haven't checked in to see how things are going. Also, some services they promised, like VA benefits assistance, are missing. It's a nice place, but don't be fooled by the attention during the sales pitch.

"Pleased with Atria during our stay, no major complaints"

We liked being at Atria for the time we were there. Our loved one didn't stay long before getting worse. During our stay, Atria treated us well, and we don't have much to complain about based on our experience.

"Friendly Staff, But Soften the Sales Approach"

Hey, it's still early to say for sure. Uncle Manny's only been at Atria for a week or two. What's nice is how friendly Atria and the staff are. But, something I didn't like about "A Place for Mom" is how they spread the word in the neighborhood that I was looking for a place. It felt like everyone was hounding me about my uncle. Thanks for your help, but maybe tone down the sales pitch a bit when talking to people.

"Didn't like this place much"

My family visited this place while we were checking out places for my loved one. Compared to others we saw, this location didn't wow us. It didn't seem as tidy, and the staff weren't as welcoming. People there also didn't seem very happy. Plus, it cost the same as nicer places we checked out.

"Not Up to Expectations: Do Your Research"

This place accepts too many who aren't fit to be here. The activities offered are really basic and boring. Before deciding on a place, please do your homework about the place you're considering. There aren't enough men compared to the number of women.

"Nice facility with pleasant staff, but a bit pricey."

The place was really nice, staff were friendly, and it was clean with beautiful surroundings. But I thought it was a little expensive.

"Convenient Elevator Access; Rooms Could Be Better"

This place is pretty good. You have to use an elevator to get to all the rooms because they're on the 2nd and 3rd floors. The rooms were just okay.
