The staff is really friendly, and everyone in the community is involved. We’re very happy with my mom being there. She seems comfortable and content. She’s joining in lots of activities, which makes us very happy. Overall, everything has been wonderful, and we’re so glad she’s thriving.

I recommend Brookdale Manlius for loved ones. They genuinely care about residents and strive to provide good care. The staff prioritize ensuring the best experience for residents. However, communication with families could be better. We'd like improved phone call responses and more attention to our loved one's specific care needs. The food doesn't always meet their preferences.

"Assisted Living Falls Short in Meeting Medical Needs"
My family member stayed at the assisted living facility with the enhanced care package. Unfortunately, the community couldn't provide the necessary assistance for this level of care. Brookdale also fell short in addressing my loved one's specific medical needs.

"Check Elsewhere"
This place costs a lot. Look somewhere else. It's safe here. From my experience, staff can't always be trusted. People are just people. Even in a good community, keep an eye on your loved one. Transportation is limited by miles and days. They provide rides to doctor appointments, but sometimes there's no driver for months. What's the point of paying so much?

"Facility needs updates but room layout is good."
I felt the facility looked a bit worn out. The sales manager mentioned that they plan to renovate in 2018. Also, the location would change for mom's doctor visits and infusion treatments. However, the room layout was good.

"Mixed Feelings about Brookdale Manlius Assisted Living Facility"
I visited Brookdale Manlius and overall, I enjoyed it. The staff was nice and there were lots of activities for residents. However, it's bigger than what I wanted. I prefer smaller places for easier navigation and care for my loved one. This Brookdale is nice, but just not the right size for us.

I liked visiting this community; it was really nice. Everything I saw looked well cared for. The staff I met were kind and friendly. This seems like a good place with nice people. We were thinking about moving my aunt here.
