"Nice facility with caring staff but staff shortage issues"
Brookdale Painted Post is a good place for assisted living. The staff are very caring and kind. My only concern is that there might not be enough staff, especially in the evenings and on weekends. The facility is really nice and well-maintained. Moving in was easy, and they can help with that if needed. They have a great activities program too. If someone needs help with things like dressing or bathing, the staff shortage can be a problem. For memory care, they are quite limited.

"Great facility but has issues with staff and services"
This place is definitely the best around here. However, they are short on cleaners and nursing staff. We've had some issues, like prescriptions getting thrown out without explanation, medicine not being refilled on time, and sometimes we go 3-4 days without trash pickup or getting new towels.

"Great place with caring staff and good communication, recommended"
Brookdale Painted Post is a great place for your parents. Even though there are some staff shortages causing a few small communication issues, my loved one is very happy living there. Everyone I've met is really nice, friendly, and seems to care a lot about the residents. The community has been good at keeping us updated and answering any questions we have. We did have some small issues at the start, but they were quickly resolved. My loved one has made new friends, and I would recommend Brookdale to others.

"A Welcoming Community with Tasty Meals"
This place has been great for my loved one's health. The staff are friendly and helpful when I have questions. They provide medication management, assistance for unwell residents, and transportation with a driver. I wish they had more consistent drivers for residents. The monthly fee covers housekeeping, linens, utilities (except landline and cable), laundry, meals, and care. My loved one enjoys the delicious food—they offer a nice variety.

We picked Brookdale Painted Post because I did some online research and found they had the highest rating compared to others in the area. The location was perfect for us, and the room sizes are good. The staff was very positive about everything, even when discussing some of the less ideal parts, which helped make the situation feel better. I suggested they improve their communication system for administrative staff. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place to other families looking for similar options.

"Friendly staff, homey feel, but location was too far"
The lady who gave us the tour was really nice, and everyone we met was friendly. My loved one liked it a lot and said it felt very homey. But it was too far away. If we lived in that area, it would have been our choice.

"Evening Staff Disappoints; Verbal Communication Lacks Clarity"
During the day when the boss is around, the staff is great. But during the evening, the staff wasn't good. Even though this place might look amazing on paper, it only deserves two stars in reality. Talking with my family was easy, but talking with my loved one didn't go well because of their medical condition. The community didn't provide anything in writing.

This place talks well with families, but our relative was happier with activities before COVID-19. We feel it's kinda old-fashioned, including the rooms. Tried the food a few times at the start, needs lots of improvement.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
It's kinda okay. My family member didn't join any activities. They had ice cream and bingo. My family member fell out of bed. Nurses didn't know for a while. No motion detector. Wanted her here because she falls at home. Residents need closer night monitoring. They have alert necklaces, but sometimes can't push them.

The Brookdale Painted Post has been a good fit so far. The place is always pretty clean, and the staff is all friendly. The meals are mostly good. I had a meal there not too long ago and was happy with the portion size. They have a lot of activities and outings, which we really liked. So far, we are happy with the place.

I really like Brookdale Painted Post! It's clean and nice. They provide great care and activities for the price. The management staff is fantastic; they helped us a lot. The only problem is sometimes requests don't get communicated between the different shifts of aides. I think they need to improve communication.

I visited this community while searching for a place for my family member. The place was really clean and tidy, and everyone I talked to was nice and acted like they knew what they were doing. "Very accommodating with great activities and fair prices"
They’ve been very accommodating. I was worried about moving Mom, but they made her feel really comfortable. She seems very happy now. They’re having a Christmas get-together, and it’s packed. The activities are awesome! My wife visited and couldn’t find Mom because she was busy playing bingo, which I didn’t expect. They have an elevator and are priced well, which is why we chose them.
