"Mixed experience at The Landing at Queensbury assisted living facility"
We picked The Landing at Queensbury for its location and impressive sales pitch. Most staff are friendly. Food quality varies. Costs seem high for the value offered.

"Great Experience at The Landing at Queensbury Assisted Living"
My parents live at The Landing at Queensbury and they've had a really good experience there. The care they get is great. The people who work there, how clean it is, how nice everyone is, the things they get to do, and what they pay all seem really good. My parents are doing well there and seem like they've settled in. I would tell others to think about The Landing at Queensbury.

"Tour Highlighted Assisted Living, Not Memory Care"
We thought it would be a good fit, but when we toured, we felt it wasn't the best for our loved one. They mainly showed us the assisted living area, but we needed memory care.

"Great place but lacks extra care options."
We really liked The Landing at Queensbury. The only problem was they couldn't provide the extra care our loved one needed.

"Disappointing Experience: Not Suitable for Independent Living"
This place feels more like a nursing home instead of an independent living facility with 24/7 care, which isn't what we wanted. It's better for people who need daily help, not for someone who can live mostly on their own with some assistance. Only a few staff members were really caring, and the uncaring ones made my loved one's stay miserable. I couldn't go inside to visit, but I saw from the window that the room was cleaned regularly. We were unhappy with the lack of activities, especially compared to where our loved one is now, where there are daily events. The website looked great, but the reality didn't match our expectations. I know it's Covid, but still. And the food was awful. For the money we spent, we didn't feel we got what we paid for. They seemed to think our loved one had more problems than she actually did. It might be right for some people, but it wasn't right for us.

"Expensive Care Plans Struggle with Staffing and Responsibility"
Care plans cost a lot because there aren't enough staff and they have too much responsibility.

"Assisted Living Facility Review: Strong Potential, Nice but Not Ideal Fit"
There was a strong possibility. It's very nice but not the best fit.
