"Mixed Experience at Unique Assisted Living Facility"
COVID isn't a big worry, but visiting rules are strict. There's only a small office space with no cozy seating for indoor visits if the weather's bad. Despite its quirks, it feels very cozy and different from typical assisted living facilities, which has its pros and cons. The downside is there are no on-site doctors, and visiting requires appointments, which can be inconvenient. On the bright side, the grounds are stunning. My dad, who has advanced Alzheimer's, is thriving there!

"Grateful for CFH's care over six years."
My mom lived at Christian Fellowship House for six years. Initially, she needed less care, but as time passed, CFH accommodated her well even during Hospice care. Grateful for their kindness.

"Disappointing Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
The place looked nice, the staff were great, and I thought it would be perfect for my mom. But then she fell and broke her hip. She couldn't go back because she couldn't walk, which makes sense. She was at Christian Fellowship for 12 days when it happened. I paid $8000.00 for the first month's rent and a $4000.00 entrance fee. I asked the owner what would happen if things didn't work out, and she said we work with the families. My mom spent the next 12 days there. On the 12th day, she fell and went to the hospital. She had surgeries, rehab, and hospital stays for the next 2 months. While she was in rehab, the owner called asking if I wanted to save her room. I said yes and sent her two more checks totaling $7000. She said my mom could come back on a Hospice Order, but she had an IV for antibiotics, so they wouldn't take her back. I asked if I could get some of the money back, especially the $4000 upfront fee. She had only been there 12 days. The answer was NO. Since the hip break, my mom has spent over $10000 on healthcare and hospital stays. Christian Fellowship didn't help or take any responsibility. I was really surprised. As a Christian, I thought my mom would be cared for by other Christians, but they didn't refund the $4000 after just 12 days. There was no attempt to work anything out. I talked to others, and when their parents were taken out of a facility after less than 2-3 weeks, they got their money back. It's a disservice to those considering Christian Living Fellowship. I wouldn't recommend it. If my mom hadn't fallen and had stayed a couple of months, I wouldn't have asked for a refund. But that wasn't the case. The caring Christian fellowship didn't even check on my mom. Be careful when considering this facility. I regret taking her there and will never recommend it.

"Feels Like Home with Excellent Care"
My mom stayed at Christian Fellowship for a few months. When I had to make the tough choice to place her somewhere, I picked this place because it felt the most like home. If she couldn’t stay at home, this was the next best thing. It really is a home. It felt like I had extended family taking care of her. The grounds are beautiful, and the place is very well kept. They became like family. The staff is super caring, the care is excellent, and mom loved the food. I highly recommend it.

"Lovely Setting with Caring Staff, Slight Isolation, and High Demand"
The place is really pretty. It’s kind of far from everything, though. Most of the people living here are older. The staff is great very nice. They take good care of the residents. But, there’s a long list of people waiting to get in.
