"Great Place, Helpful Staff, Mom's Happy at Elderwood"
I'd recommend it. We visited just two places and really liked Elderwood in Williamsville. My mom is very happy there, and I'm really thankful for the help I received from you.

"Unpleasant Staff and Instability Issues in Assisted Living Facility"
The place didn't run as smoothly as it was supposed to. The employees didn't treat her nicely. The constant change in staff created problems. It's a challenging business.

"Elderwood Village Falls Short on Promised Care for Mom"
We picked Elderwood Village because they said they could take care of Mom as her needs grew. But it felt like they never gave her enough care. We think they promised too much and didn't do enough. We're moving Mom and we're not happy with Elderwood Village.

"Inconsistent Staff, Decent Activities, and Mediocre Facilities"
The stuff like games and such are nice, and my family member's been getting their medicine on time, which is great. People talk and hang out, which is nice too. The building's mostly okay. But, the people who work here keep changing. Since August, the main nurse left, the boss left, people in the kitchen left, and even the activities person had to drive the bus for a while.

"Mixed Experience at Elderwood Williamsville Assisted Living Facility"
Keep looking. Elderwood Williamsville seemed promising during the tour. The rooms were a bit bigger, and the facility looked nice despite its age. The director, [name removed], was friendly and persuasive about their community. However, the services didn't match the description. The rooms were uncomfortably hot, especially on the upper floors. Waiting until June to turn on the AC was unbearable. The food didn't live up to what was promised on the tour; it tasted too institutional. It was a letdown overall. The staff were friendly, though, and tried to make the best of things. There's potential, but it wasn't the right fit for us.

"Great experience and comfortable environment, highly recommended for others"
We picked Elderwood Village because we had a great first impression. She was very helpful and made us feel at ease with everything. The place is really nice and not too big, so it doesn't overwhelm the residents. It has been a wonderful experience, and I would definitely suggest it to others.

"Friendly staff and helpful, but close to busy highway"
We liked Elderwood Village of Williamsville a lot. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, and everyone was friendly. Our only worry was that the facility is close to a busy highway, which might be a problem if our loved one with early dementia tried to leave. However, they were very helpful, answered all our questions, and even suggested other questions to ask at different places.

The people here are really nice. There are plenty of activities to enjoy. The caregivers give lots of attention to the residents. Some of the activities include kickball, bingo, rosary, outdoor entertainment, and more options for the residents to pick from.

"Great support, nice surroundings, good food, and some independence"
This is a great place for people needing help with daily tasks. The surroundings are nice, the staff is helpful, and the food is very good. The apartments are set up so you can still have some independence if you want.

"Attentive staff and engaging activities make this place great"
This has been a great experience for my mother. The staff is very attentive to her needs and offers lots of activities to keep her engaged. They have things like movie nights, bingo, shopping trips, live entertainment, and card games. We had a few small issues when we first moved in, but management quickly fixed them. They do have a community fee, but it's refunded if you move out within 90 days. I would recommend this place to other families.

"Nice Place, Great Care, Small Apartments"
We really liked this place. It's got nice, old-fashioned common areas with arts and crafts. It's got a cozy feel, not like some big, impersonal suburban campus. The village around it is small, too, just about 75 people. This woman was really good. She told us everything we needed to know and I felt like my in-laws would be taken good care of here. But, the apartments were the problem. The one-bedroom options are too little. There's just a small kitchen area and not much space for clothes. The bathroom didn't have much storage either. I don't even think both my parent's clothes would fit in there. The one-bedroom we saw had a view of the courtyard, but no door to walk outside. I wish they'd put some thought into making the apartments better. We saw a two-bedroom apartment, too. It was a little better, but the walls were at weird angles so it would be hard to put in furniture. But, the services they offer are really good. They've got buttons for emergencies, help getting dressed, even help taking meds. The transportation services sounded good too. Honestly, I wish had better apartments to show. She's a great guide, smart and friendly. She doesn't act fake and rushed like a lot of people do in a place like this.

"Steer Clear: Promises Broken and Care Inadequate"
The care they promised wasn't delivered. My grandma had a hard time there. We were told everything would be covered, but that just wasn't the case. A really letdown." .

"Assisted Living Tour: Small Spaces, Not for Loved Ones"
I visited this place and it was okay. It showed me what it's like, but I wouldn't choose it for someone I care about. The rooms were small, even though everything looked nice.

"Great Care and Fun Activities at This Top-Rated Community!"
My brother is doing well at this community. He likes playing bingo and going to mass. He enjoys the food and they keep everything clean. The staff are attentive and communicate well. I recommend this community.

"Helpful Review Summary"
My mom's been here for almost 2 months. The nurses and staff are good at talking to her and handling issues. They manage her medicine and deliver it, so I don't have to pick up prescriptions. They even arrange for a podiatrist and another nurse to help with wound dressings. They offer transportation to medical appointments too. The food is okay, but the soup has too much salt. I wish they'd give more info about healthy eating. My mom enjoys the activities like workouts, brain fitness, and bingo. The third-floor temperature is too warm, but maybe it'll improve as the weather gets better. The only problem is they wake her up an hour early. I haven't fixed that yet.
