"Mixed Experience with Assisted Living Facility"
The owners aren't very friendly. I think they are short-staffed. I asked how much it would cost for more help for my loved one due to a medical condition. Sometimes my loved one gets bed sores from wet conditions. During COVID, the community didn't even arrange a virtual doctor visit for my loved one despite her multiple medical conditions. The place is good, clean, and the community is nice. It's easy for my loved one to move around with her walker. The head nurse is controlling and doesn't delegate because she thinks no one else will do the job right. There is a lack of communication about things that have happened. They are starting to allow visits in the courtyard, but I didn't find out until a friend told me about it on Facebook. My mother hasn't seen the hairdresser since February. The community still doesn't have their hairdresser back. I've decided to bring my mother home. When the community found out she was leaving, they did ask if there was anything they could do to help her.

"Assisted Living Facility Review"
I'm mostly happy. They try their best. Sometimes I remind them about small things like laundry. The staff is nice to me. The place is clean and they try to keep us busy. Overall, they're doing a good job.

"Friendly staff and great care close to home"
My mom and dad live at the Manor, and they love it! The staff is always friendly, polite, and very helpful. I feel good knowing they are well cared for and close to my home. The staff treats our family with the same kindness they show the residents. I recommend Mountain Valley Manor to anyone looking for senior housing.
