Prentice Homestead

"Great value, caring staff, homey feel, and supportive community."
They’ve brought back many activities like chair yoga, games, and physical therapy. Outings haven’t started yet, but they’re in the works. The staff is as caring as non-family members can be with your loved one. Meals are prepared in the home kitchen, and they pay attention to the food pyramid and dietary needs, ensuring everyone gets nutritious meals. They’re also open to you bringing food for your loved one or the whole house. I have a great relationship with the manager, daily caregivers, and the owner. The value for the money is excellent—much better than an institutional setting like a nursing home. My loved one has gained independence, emotional stability, and feels safe. I highly recommend Prentice Homestead to other families and always mention them in conversations with others in similar situations. They’re well-known in the community, well-established, and have great relationships with nearby businesses. I’m so grateful we found Prentice Homestead.

"Great care and kindness at Prentice Home highly recommended!"
I go to the Prentice Home every few months to give haircuts to some of the residents. It’s a fantastic place for them. Julie is amazing at looking after everyone; she’s really kind and caring. I definitely recommend this place to anyone.

"More Activities Needed; Good Communication"
My mom spends a bunch of time just watching TV without much to do. They're good at keeping in touch and telling me if she needs stuff. I wish she had more chances to hang out with people though.
