"Satisfied Family Member Recommends Sunrise of Plainview Facility"
My Mom really enjoys living at Sunrise of Plainview. She considers the primary caregiver as her own family now. The meals are mostly tasty. Joining was easy with no issues. The staff contacts me periodically to let me know how she's doing health-wise. I'd tell others to consider this place for their loved ones.

"High-Level Care at a Steep Price with Room for Improvement"
While this assisted living residence overall provides ample care, it's significantly more expensive than other options. However, the level of care here is superior and incredibly attentive. This place is perfect for individuals who require substantial care. Unfortunately, we experienced a rate increase twice within a single year, which was disappointing. The number of activities and outside organized trips is disappointing compared to other locations, but for those who require intensive care, it won't matter much since they usually can't take part. The quality of the food is amazing! For the most part, the staff is satisfactory. We had a few issues, but nothing compared to what we dealt with at two other places we tried. The atmosphere is comfortable and feels like home, and the size is just right. Overall, if high-level care is a priority for your loved one, this place ticks that box. However, it comes with a substantial price tag.

"Mixed Feelings About Sunrise of Plainview Care and Meals"
My family member lived at Sunrise of Plainview and it was an alright experience. The facility looks great, but I don't think he always received the personal care he required. I was also surprised by the types of food being served; they didn't seem suitable for people with high blood pressure or other health issues. However, the overall quality seemed decent.

We really enjoyed Sunrise of Plainview and the tour was great. But it was just too expensive for us to choose this place for our family member.

"Genuine Care and Warm Atmosphere at Assisted Living Facility"
This critique doesn't seem to align with a 0-star review as it is written positively mentioning that all staff members are genuinely kind, with a close-knit community ambiance. The assisted living facility exudes a warm, pleasant atmosphere.

"Impressive Service and Value at this Assisted Living Facility"
This review seems to be positive rather than zero-star. The reviewer seems to be really satisfied with the services of the assisted living facility. However, if it was intended to be a negative review then, the wording might've been sarcastic. So, based on that assumption, here is the revised text: Honestly, I couldn't be happier. Right from the start, they were absolutely phenomenal. I don't think they could've been any nicer. You'll usually find them doing chair exercises in the foyer. I wouldn't hesitate to suggest this place. Food's decent, nothing to complain. Certainly gets a thumbs up for its value. They pay close attention and are really quick to respond to all the residents.

"Dated, Gloomy Assisted Living Facility Not Recommended"
This place was ancient, with outdated furnishings. Its dining room was tiny and gloomy. I instantly knew it wasn't right.

"Pleasant Staff and Atmosphere at Sunrise of Plainview, Mixed Experience"
The Sunrise of Plainview is a cheerful and positive place. Every visit we made, there were always employees ready to help. They were really nice and most times when we called, someone picked up the phone right away. We loved going there, it's a nice facility with friendly and helpful staff. Our family member liked the food, but wasn't able to join in any of the activities.

"Good Care but Needs More Staff"
This place helped my family member with meals and everyone was super nice. I felt it was money well spent knowing my relative was looked after. The people working there were easy to talk to if I had any worries about my family member. However, there seemed to be not enough staff during my loved one's stay.

"Pleasant but Billing Issues at Cozy Assisted Living Facility"
My family member was here during COVID-19. It's a cozy, small place. It really is a great place. It's spacious, light-filled, and cheery. It makes you feel good leaving your loved one here because everyone is nice and they care. They do their billing through another company, and the facility is trying to help us deal with some billing problems that came up after my family member stayed here.

"Exemplary Care & Communication at Smaller, Personalized Facility"
This place offers excellent care for assisted living and memory issues. They communicate very well with our family, always answering our calls and sending us emails fast. I'd tell others to come here. It's smaller than other places, but that means our beloved family member gets more attention.

"Disappointed with Neglectful Care at Sunrise of Plainview"
Really not pleased with Sunrise of Plainview. The staff were totally uncaring and neglectful towards my mom, who was in the dementia care unit. Instead of being satisfied with the care, she often complained about them. She hated her room, the view was just a bunch of trees. Their communication was terrible, I was always kept in the dark. Honestly, we didn't get our money's worth with this place, she was always unhappy and dirty. I certainly wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

"Minimal Staffing and Parking, but Excellent Care at Sunrise"
I believe Sunrise of Plainview didn't have enough staff. They had lots of activities for residents to join. Sunrise was quite a small community. It's a really great place, and I think your family member would be happy here. The parking area didn't have many spaces. The nurses were fantastic. Our family member was well-cared for.

"Enjoyed Visit, Comfortable Atmosphere, Holding Spot on Waitlist"
We really enjoyed the vibe at this Sunrise. was so friendly and made our visit comfortable. We believe would enjoy this place and hopefully improve in her health. We even sent a $1,000 check to hold our spot on the waiting list. When leaves the Townhouse rehab, we'll see how well this works out.

"Sunrise - Limited Availability & Small Social Scene"
When we checked out Sunrise, I noticed the staff was very kind and supportive. But, they didn't have much space when we needed it. The place seemed pretty tiny too, only 17 spots. I hoped my family member would be able to socialize a lot, so this place didn't seem like the best choice for her.

"Kind Staff but Concerns About Resident Placements and Meal Options"
We checked out this place as a potential home for my mom. The staff members were pleasant, but we weren't fond of their practice of spreading residents throughout the building. They didn't share the meal options with us which concerned us. They offer activities for folks living there, which is great. We recommend that people considering this sort of setting for a family member explore this place too.
