"Beautiful Remodel, Tasty Food: Assisted Living Review"
They were friendly folks. I didn’t like that my mom spent too much time in her room. Sometimes they forgot to recharge her portable oxygen machine. The place was tidy, and they recently spruced up the lobby and great room, which looks beautiful.

"A mixed experience for residents and families"
The main staff is really nice. Most of the other workers are good too. There aren't enough workers for all the people living there. If you don't remind them, they might not do extra for your family member.

"Friendly Assisted Living with Quick Communication"
I think The Arbors at Westbury is great. It feels like a cozy home. The staff is nice and knows what they’re doing. They’re good at keeping in touch with families, especially [name removed]. I can email her and get a fast response. The maintenance staff is also helpful.

"Mixed experience at The Arbors Good for mobile residents."
My family member stayed at The Arbors at Westbury, and at first, everything was going well for her. We thought the facility was very nice overall. However, she had a fall, and they didn't allow her to come back. I think this place works well for people who can move around easily, but if someone needs more assistance, it might not be the best choice.

""Unsatisfactory Care and Services at The Arbors""
Avoid this place. My family member had to leave sooner on account of how awful things were. The medical care and attention were lousy, especially considering her condition that required extra attention. Plus, the activities were poor quality. If I could, I'd give the food below zero stars. I would advise no one to rely on The Arbors.

"Westbury: A Warm and Welcoming Home"
Yesterday, my family and I toured Westbury. We were so impressed with this place! It felt so warm and welcoming. We met with [name removed], and she was super kind and answered all our questions. She made us want to move in, lol. We really appreciated the time she spent with us. As we walked around, we talked to residents, and they all had wonderful things to say. My family and I are so excited we found a home for our grandparents.

"The best choice for my mom and me"
My mom is living at the Arbors now, and it's been a great experience from the very first day I toured the facility. The Director is genuinely kind, understanding, and helpful. She and her team have been angels to me and my mom. Honestly, I don't know what I would have done without her help. As an only child, I have the sole responsibility of caring for my mom, who has been sick for months. After my mom's short-term rehab days were used up, I had nowhere to turn. The Director stepped in and made this a life-changing experience. My mom is finally happy, and so am I. The care has stayed consistent from intake to now, several months later. The staff treat her even better than family.

"Great Care and Close to the Beach"
We visited this place and the staff were really nice and answered all our questions. We liked everything, from the food to the activities. My mom wanted a place where she could smoke indoors. This place is also close to the beach, which she loves. We recommend families check out this place for great care options.

"Stand Your Ground in Budget Friendly Living Center"
The place is neat and everyone seems nice enough. If you notice something doesn't feel right, you can always tell the staff and they promise to sort it out. The building is quite old and the roof has a habit of letting the rain in. They've tried to repair it, but for some reason, the problem continues. Dining can be a challenge – you won't get what you're after unless you make some noise about your needs, and the folks who run the kitchen don't always have the best people skills. We opted for this spot since it was less expensive than other options and it has a set rate for all services. If your family member isn't the type to speak up, consider other options before picking this home.

"A Pleasant Option"
I visited this place when I was exploring care choices for a family member. The building was neat and tidy, and the staff I met were friendly and acted professionally. Although we chose a different community, I would have thought about this one for my loved one. I appreciated their dedicated person who helps residents with government benefits.

"Comfortable Assisted Living: Good Food, Location, and Value"
This place is great for the price. My mom loves the food. The food is really tasty. The location is convenient. The parking is fine. There's plenty of it. It's super clean, friendly, and a good deal. The only area they could work on is the care services. But besides that, it's been pretty nice. I'd tell anyone to check out The Arbors at Westbury.

"Great Place, Friendly Staff"
The Arbors at Westbury is a really nice place. It’s very clean and well-kept. They could do better by making sure their staff knows all the rules and regulations. "More activities needed for a better experience at The Arbors."
My only disappointment is the activities. My mother-in-law feels bored there. She wants to do more. They only go to Walmart or Duncan Donuts. It would be better if they had more things to do. Overall, it's been pretty good at The Arbors at Westbury. It's nice and clean, and the staff is friendly.

"Dad is so happy here!"
We tried The Arbors at Westbury for two weeks as a trial for my dad. After we picked him up, by that evening he wanted to go back. We made arrangements, and a week later, he was thrilled to return. He's made lots of friends, joined activities, loves the food, and adjusted really well.

"Dad’s Happy and Thriving Here"
We first took my dad to this place for a two-week trial. When we picked him up after the two weeks, he wanted to go back and live there permanently. He loved it! He made great friends and missed them. He enjoyed the activities. We moved him in a week later, and he’s having a great time and is happy. I checked out several assisted living places in different areas, but this one was the best fit for my dad. We also like the all-inclusive pricing, and there are more men here compared to other places. Plus, there are more Italian-speaking people. We made the right choice for him.

"A Bit of Good and Bad at Assisted Living Facility"
So far, living here has had its ups and downs. The place certainly looks pretty good and the people working there are nice. Yet, some things aren't so good - according to my family member. She complains about how rigid they are with meal times: if she gets there even slightly early, they still make her leave the dining room and wait. Plus, she's had to deal with ants in her room and it's taken them quite some time to get rid of them.

"Wonderful Place!"
We’re super happy with our experience at The Arbors of Westbury. It’s a really great place! The staff is super friendly, and they work hard to make services personalized for each resident. For my mom, who has trouble walking, they found a room close to the dining area and common spaces. The whole place has a positive vibe and a good atmosphere.

"Amazing Care and Friendly Staff!"
The Arbors at Westbury is doing a fantastic job! The place looks great and is well-kept, with a nice atmosphere. The staff are super friendly and professional, and they take really good care of everyone. They are very attentive and meet all of my Mom’s needs quickly and efficiently. The staff, who helped us during the tour, was especially helpful! I visited a lot of places, and she was the most approachable and informative person I met. One thing I love about The Arbors is their all-inclusive pricing for care. You don’t have to worry about the bill going up as care needs increase. It’s a big relief knowing my Mom is safe, well taken care of, and happy here!

""DREADFUL MANAGEMENT, MOVING DAD OUT!!""
TERRIBLE! We fork out a lot of money and they can't even keep my family member clean. This place is run really badly - to call them incapable is being TOO nice! No one ever owns up to their mistakes. The boss needs to be KICKED OUT! We've had it, we're relocating our Dad!

"Highly recommend the Arbors!"
Tomorrow will be one week since Mom moved in, and so far, everyone has been really responsive to her needs. They made sure her shower was set up perfectly. She really likes the food! From the start, working with the Arbors has been great. Christopher W. took the time to explain everything on the phone, so I knew if it would be a good fit before touring. During the tour, Case Manager Judith A. went over every detail—no surprises! The monthly fees are very reasonable, much less than other places. Mom’s already getting occupational and physical therapy. So far, so good!

"Decent Assisted Living Facilty Could Improve in Certain Areas"
The place is alright but they make promises they don't keep. For instance, they said they'd have him ready by some specific time, but it never happens. As we moved his stuff and tidied up the closet in his old room, we found dirty diapers under the sink. Whenever I discuss any problem, I'm told that it's not their responsibility. They told me they'd closely monitor him, but it doesn't seem like it. Other residents typically whine about the lousy food. There's only two options, and the chicken is particularly dry. There was one time where the choice was either sardines or macaroni and cheese. They have activities like dog visits, bingo, and movie nights. But one time I visited at 7:30 pm, they were just watching old films. They do plan outings on occasion. The cleaning staff, activity coordinators, and receptionists are friendly though. We picked this place because they don't serve alcohol.

""Unhappy with The Arbor's Indifference and Billing Practices""
My mom recently passed which was hard, truthfully though, she never got the chance to go to The Arbors. Regardless, we were still billed and nothing was done about it, which didn't sit well with me. Her health declined before she could move in and after reassessing, they decided she wasn't a good fit anymore. I totally got it, but also felt like we should've gotten some money back since she didn't use any of their services or their meals. I'm ready to move past this whole thing, but they just shrugged off my complaints when I initially brought it up. First impressions of the place and the staff were good, but we only really got to know them when they said mom wasn't a good fit anymore.

"Wonderful Place with Great Activities and Caring Staff"
A few days before my mother-in-law was set to move in, she sadly passed away, but the staff was very kind to us. She would have loved joining the painting and singing groups they offered. There was plenty for her to do, and she was really looking forward to it. This place is excellent great value, close to our home, and just the right fit. It has a relaxed atmosphere and offers more inclusions than other places, including discounts for veterans. She took a long tour of The Arbors and instantly fell in love with it.

My family member stayed at the assisted living facility for a month during respite care. She had a great time! The social activities were fantastic, especially going to the movies.
