"Inconsistencies in Promises and Certifications"
Make sure to get everything they promise written down. Also, consider recording your meetings through Zoom. And before you decide, do some research. Some places might have better medical certifications than others.

"Assisted Living Gem in Westchester: Mom Thrives and Recommends!"
Our Mom lives at The Country House in Westchester. The staff is nice and helpful. The place is always clean and nice. They have great activities for older people. Mom likes the food options and has made friends here. We think it's great and would tell our family and friends about it.

"Great place but meals sometimes need improvement"
This is a nice place and a good choice for your loved one. The staff does a good job of talking with the family. My loved one likes the meals, but about twice a month, they can't eat them. The residents have options to choose from, and the staff tries to be accommodating with the meals.

"Quality Care but Pricey: Honest Review of The Country House"
Our mom lived at The Country House for 8 months. We liked the place, care, and how safe it felt. It’s clean, the staff is nice and pays attention, and the activities were fun. Trust is really important, and you can trust this place. The food was good, and so were the activities (though more variety would be even better). The place is clean, the grounds are kept up nicely, and residents can make friends if they want. It would be better with more helpers, especially on weekends. It’s hard to find good helpers for the pay these places give. It’s too bad because the management charges families a lot of money. We wish they took Medicaid. We had to move mom out because it costs too much each month. We wish she could have stayed with her friends and the helpers who took care of her all the time. We would tell others to try The Country House.

"Facility Fails to Care for Elderly Mom, Threatens Police Intervention"
My mom lived in this assisted living facility for two and a half years. She was there for her safety and daily care. But as she aged and dementia set in, things changed. Recently, she managed to leave the facility through a back door and fell down a hill at 3AM. Thankfully, she wasn't hurt and made it back to her apartment. When she tried to leave again, we were told that they couldn't manage her anymore. She's 92 years old and weighs just 122 lbs. We started making arrangements to move her, but then they threatened to call the police to calm her down! What kind of caring facility treats their patients like that? What kind of staff do they have in charge? Things have gone downhill since Meridian took over. This situation needs to be addressed.

"A Wonderful Place for Care and Happiness"
The Country House is amazing. The care and attention the staff give to the residents is outstanding. The community might not be the fanciest, but it is clean, tidy, and safe. It's in beautiful, country surroundings but still close to shopping and other places. The community isn't too big, and I like that the staff checks on my loved one often. The meals are good, and with the nice portion sizes and flexibility, my loved one is eating much better than before. He is very happy here. I can't imagine a better place than Country House, and I highly recommend them.

"Friendly and Caring Community!"
The staff here is super friendly. My loved one really enjoys the community. They help her with laundry, and the housekeeping keeps everything neat and tidy. She has her own private studio room with a small bathroom. The meals are delicious with lots of choices. It's a small, lovely community.
