"Caring Assisted Living at The Homesteads"
I really suggest The Homesteads. They were like family and helped us a lot. Even though my dad passed away last November, I'd still recommend them to anyone who needs it.

"Dad Thrives in Homesteads' Family-Like Atmosphere"
The Homesteads is great. It feels like a real family place, and Dad is doing much better here than he did in a regular nursing home. We don’t have other places to compare it to, but Dad has adjusted well, and we feel sure he’s safe and well cared for.

"Warm, caring staff and great place for Mom!"
Three years ago, I needed to find a place for my mother to live. The Homesteads was the first option I found. After doing a lot of research, I visited and met the owner. She is kind and caring, with 25 years of experience, so she understood exactly what we were going through. After seeing the home, meeting the staff, and feeling the warm, family-like atmosphere, we chose to move Mom in. She is still there, getting great care and feeling happy, healthy, and safe. I highly recommend them!

"Location Issue Hinders Overall Satisfaction"
I visited this community with my family and our loved one. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made us happy. The layout was easy for our loved one to move around, and there were many cool things for everyone to enjoy. However, we wished it was closer to our home.

"Affordable Facility, Small Rooms, Unprofessional Owner. Revisit Scheduled."
The price wasn't bad at this place, but they had a couple of noisy, small dogs that wouldn't be a good match for my wife. The rooms were kind of small and I don't think sharing a room would work out. I did like the porch and yard - they seemed nice for walking around and sitting outside to watch the birds. The owner, who wasn't dressed very professionally, said hi but was not around after that. They mentioned they were going shopping, but we saw them just wandering around during our tour. We're going to check it out again in March.

"A Loving Home for Every Resident"
My mom lived here for over 6 years. Calling her a "resident" doesn't quite capture it. The Homesteads really feel like a HOME for your family. My mom and every other resident were treated like family, with love, respect, and grace. From when we first moved her in, dealing with early onset Alzheimer’s, to her passing away at the Barton house, every need was met in an amazing way. As a physical therapist, I know what good care looks like, and this place exceeded all expectations. I wish every community had a place like this for people to care for their loved ones.

"Wonderful Care and Respect for Every Resident at This Facility"
My grandma has lived here for a long time, and I come by often to play piano for the residents. The caregivers are really nice and treat everyone with great respect. They also make sure each person gets the special care they need.

"Respectful, Loving Care in a Beautiful, Well-Maintained Facility"
I am so grateful for The Homestead. My mom stayed at the Barton home. I saw my mom and other residents treated with respect, love, and excellent care. I was amazed at how the owner and staff managed different needs, illnesses, and levels of care. I admired and loved the owners, managers, and daily caregivers. It was clear that the owners and managers expected high levels of care, skill, and kindness from the caregivers. Often, the care my mom received went above and beyond what she might have had at larger facilities. The facility itself was clean, attractive, and modern. Thank you forever, Connie and Staff!
