"Comforting Assisted Living with Many Activities"

It's a lovely place with plenty to do. Families feel reassured knowing their loved ones are cared for. Residents can stay active without feeling pressured. Despite higher costs, the facility's beauty and activities made it the best choice for Mom.

"Comfortable and Clean Assisted Living with Caring Staff"

Our experience has been really good. Mom feels very comfortable there. It's very clean and neat. The staff is very nice and they check on mom regularly. They always greet her and treat her with respect. The quality is very good and they respond quickly if there are any issues (which are few). The meals were just okay at first, but now the kitchen has new management and mom says the food has gotten much better. There are lots of activities to keep everyone engaged. It's definitely worth the cost. Mom feels safe and comfortable there. I've stayed there with her a few times and I'm glad she's there.

"“Great Experience at 10 Wilmington Place!”"

We highly recommend 10 Wilmington Place to other families. Our loved one enjoys her apartment, raves about the delicious meals, and appreciates the friendly staff. She has fun with activities like chair yoga, happy hours, and Wii bowling, connecting with other residents.

"Not Very Impressed with Assisted Living Tour"

Our family visited an assisted living facility in person, and it was an okay experience. However, we weren't very impressed.

"Comfortable Care!"

My sister recently moved here, and it's the best choice. The staff are amazing, and I'm comfortable with her care. She enjoys dining with others and the activity program. It's made a world of difference in her attitude, and she's very happy.

"Avoid this Facility: No Care, Empty Promises and High Costs"

Steer clear of this place and look for another option. This establishment only seeks profit, they demand steep rent but offer zero care. I recall when I was in Independent Living and had trouble figuring out how to get around the building and use the elevators to reach the dining room in the basement. The only piece of advice the staff had for me was to move to Assisted Living if I couldn't manage. The Assisted Living situation turned out to be even worse. It cost four times more than Independent Living and still, there was no assistance. I was levied for second level care despite not needing any medications or physical support. They claimed my need to be reminded to use the elevator at mealtimes justified the level 2 charges. Additionally, the housekeeping staff was non-performing. They didn’t bother to empty the trash or vacuum. No assistance was provided for bathing, nor did they clean the vanity or mirror. Did I mention there was never a care conference to discuss these issues? After spending four years and all my money on this place, the staff somehow found my family's contact details. They called to say they could no longer provide the necessary care, even though they had initially promised to accept Assisted Living Medicaid waivers. Deception and lies are aplenty; honest caregiving is missing. You'll do better at another facility.

"Great Tour and Considerable Choice"

We picked a few places based on prices and what made each one unique. Every tour was good. The people who work here were really nice. A lady named showed us around and helped us out.

"Fancy Facade, Inadequate Care at 10 Wilmington Place"

After my mom moved into this assisted living home, I had to pull her out just two months later. While it might look good on the outside, the care provided was anything but sufficient. My mother's doctor had her on a special diet consisting only of thin foods that had been pureed and liquids that had a honey-like thickness. Despite this, I would visit her during mealtime and find her eating regular meals; those that could put her at risk of choking or aspirating. Not only that, but they were about to give her medications in pill form with some water, even though all her prescribed drugs were supposed to be crushed and mixed with pudding before she swallowed them. Under no circumstances would I recommend 10 Wilmington Place Dayton, Ohio.

"Cozy living, caring staff, and engaging activities for families."

I visited this place for my mom. She'd have had to share a room, but the staff was friendly and kind. The food looked good, and there were lots of fun activities for the residents. I think other families should check it out too.

"Highly Impressive Tour"

I was super impressed with our tour of this community. It's a really nice place. Everything looked awesome and well-maintained. The staff was super kind and polite. The whole experience was really pleasant. My mom thought it might be overwhelming for her, but it's still a very nice facility. I'd totally live here when I'm older—it's a great community.

"Top-Notch Care!"

This place has so much to offer for the people living here. The workers are amazing with my family member. Everyone, from the workers to the residents, was really friendly to me and my family member. The rooms in this place are a good size and they let in a lot of natural light. I'd have to say, this place is really great.

"Impressed but too far from family"

I was really impressed with this community during our tour. The staff were nice and knowledgeable. The rooms were a bit smaller, and we didn’t choose this place because it was too far from family.

"Perfect place for mom’s new chapter!"

My mom moved into her apartment last November 2015. She could bring her own furniture, which made moving from her home of over 70 years easier. She loves taking the shuttle to church, the stores, and going on day trips. The dinners are great, and she eats better now than when she lived alone. She has made many new friends, attends exercise classes, and enjoys sing-alongs with songs from the 40s. We believe this place is perfect for her, and it’s reassuring to know she’s busy and safe. I’m pleased with their improvement plans and that her linens and towels are cleaned by the staff every two weeks. She values her independence but needs help with some things, so this place is ideal. The staff were very supportive with her move, accommodating us every step of the way since we came from out of state. Her children smile every day because she’s happy there!

"Very nice facility, but lacking necessary care."

We visited this community while exploring care options for a family member. The place looked really nice! The facility was clean and well-maintained, and the grounds were beautiful. However, it didn't seem to offer the level of care our loved one needed. It might be perfect for independent living though!

"Horrifying Experience at Assisted Living Home Lacking Adequate Care"

Our time at this assisted living home was utterly awful! The memory care section didn't have enough workers to properly look after people with dementia and various other health problems. We ended up departing from this place with a family member who had a severe concussion and was terribly undernourished, according to hospital documents. I wouldn't advise anyone who has a relative needing extra help due to a condition like dementia to leave their family member in this establishment. They devote lots of money to make the place look fancy, but what they really should be doing is investing that money into hiring quality health care workers.

"Costly Senior Living Facilities with No Aid for Independence"

Having to pay $2,000 a month for independent living and $4,200 a month for assisted living is too expensive. They told us there isn't any help available for independent living. It's really not affordable for us.

"Lovely place, but too big for Dad. Myra was great."

This place is really nice. she helped us a lot by telling us everything we needed to know. But, it's too big for my Dad. He has to walk a lot to get to his room and to other things he wants to do.

"Warm Staff, Dining Concerns, Honest Communication; Overall Positive Experience"

The folks at 10 Wilmington Place are really friendly! But sometimes, I felt like the director didn't really hear me out, she seemed to have her mind set already. Also, they split up the dining areas, which feels like they're separating people who need help from those who don't, like in memory care. This makes it hard for everyone to mingle during meals. Besides that, Myra and Donna were awesome and told us everything upfront.

"Nice place, unsure if suits Dad's needs"

The place is nice, but unsure if it suits Dad's needs. Met with Myra Lowden.

"Lovely place, but too pricey for her budget."

The building was really pretty, but it cost more than she could afford.
