Allay Senior Care Of Meyers Lake

"Friendly Staff, Outdated Facility"
The community seemed older than we preferred. We hoped for a more modern place. The staff I saw interacting with residents were friendly, kind, and attentive to everything happening around them.

"Kind Staff, But Rooms Too Small for Our Needs"
The person showing us around was really nice and explained everything about the place well, but we don’t think it’s the right place for us. The rooms just aren’t big enough for what we need.

"Outstanding therapy, caring staff, highly recommended."
We've had a great experience here. It was tough to find a place for my loved one after residential rehab, but Commonwealth was very accommodating. Their physical therapy is outstanding—her therapist has her in better shape now than before her injury. She can walk and stand on her own, which is amazing. The staff is kind, well-trained, and truly cares about her.

"Great communication and mom loved living here, highly recommend!"
The community here communicates really well with us and they listen to what we have to say. My mom enjoyed living there. I think other people would like this community too.

"Good choice for mom: happy, well-fed, and close to home."
It's just what I thought it would be. My mom is really happy and they feed her well. The food is better than where she was before. Everyone who works there is really nice to my mom and to me. The reason I picked this place is because it's a good deal, it's not expensive, and it's less than a mile from my house.

"Safe, caring, clean, needs better aide training."
There are many options, but I chose Allay Senior Care. No matter where you go, you need to be involved in your loved one's care. Allay is a locked community, and they’re very open to suggestions. The doctor and nurses are kind and listen to concerns, and the manager and admissions staff work hard to provide great care. The place is always clean. However, there’s a high turnover of aides, and better training for them would help.
