"The Enclave of Newell Creek: Caring Staff and Convenient Communication"
The staff at The Enclave of Newell Creek is really nice. They care a lot and are super helpful. The person in charge of activities is quick to respond using Life Loop. If you need something, the front desk staff will find the right person. The call button works, but my loved one doesn’t use it. Nurse [name removed] is great at making a special plan for each resident. A tip for new families: ask Nurse [name removed] about your loved one’s daily schedule. That way, you’ll know when caregivers will come to clean, do laundry, or change the bed. After moving in, schedule a follow-up to discuss any changes you want and share observations for a more personalized care plan. Don’t worry about bothering the staff—they have an easy way to communicate through Life Loop. Nurse [name removed] prefers email. Overall, we recommend the facility. The food could be better, but having food available all day is nice.”

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living Hygiene and Staff Rotation"
We're having trouble with cleanliness and staff changes at the assisted living place. They're really friendly, but it seems like they don't really listen to us about what my mom needs. Sometimes she doesn't get her medicine, her teeth aren't brushed regularly, and she doesn't shower enough so her scalp is getting worse. Overall, it's a nice place, and I think part of the problem might be not having enough staff, but we're a little annoyed by it now. It's really tough on my dad.

"Disappointed with Enclave at Newell Creek's Service"
My Mom had a pretty bad time at the Enclave's assisted living and memory care units. We ran into a bunch of problems. The cleaning wasn't good. Sometimes, trash was everywhere. Also, they left old meals in her room for way too long, and didn't change her sheets each week. More than once, we found that she was wearing clothes that had poop on them. Even though we spent extra money for better care for her, she often didn't have her hearing aids in or her call button on. It seems like maybe the Enclave at Newell Creek just doesn't have enough workers or the management doesn't really know what they're doing.

"Disturbing Care Issues at Newell Creek Assisted Living"
My mom stayed at Newell Creek's assisted living and memory care. We had issues from the beginning, like overflowing garbage, undone laundry and unchanged bedsheets. The worst problem was my mom's personal care, like her staying in dirty clothes for a long time. Workers even falsely said she went to activities, even the day before she died when I was with her in her room all day. The managers and administrators didn't fix these problems. They also didn't seem to properly oversee their team or listen to my requests for care plans that matched my mom's needs. Some Newell Creek workers cared about the people living there, but others were the coldest people I've ever met.

"Friendly staff but long wait times and cleanliness concerns"
My mom stayed at the facility for a few months under hospice care, so she didn't get to join in on activities and was on the highest care level. We were often frustrated with how long it took for someone to answer her call button. I know they’re short on staff and having trouble hiring more people, which is a problem many places are facing right now. The staff they did have were friendly and did their best, but they were really busy and couldn’t always get to everyone quickly. We also had concerns about cleanliness and sometimes noticed a smell in the memory care unit. The assisted living part of the facility looked nice, and I wish my mom could have enjoyed that. We were pleased with the people at The Enclave and the care she received when she got it, but there were often long waits.

"Mixed Feelings About The Enclave"
Our tour at The Enclave of Newell Creek was pleasant, but it didn’t meet our loved one’s needs as well as another facility we considered.

"Good choice, but higher cost made me reconsider."
I almost chose this place as my second option. It cost a bit more, and that made me look at other options.

"Resort-like Feel, Great for Social Seniors"
Our family visited in person, and it seemed nice, but more like a resort. It's perfect for families with loved ones who are very social and enjoy an active community.
