"Great care, but billing communication needs improvement."
The community could improve how they handle billing issues, but the care for my mother is excellent. When she had a stroke, they quickly took her to the hospital.

"Mixed Experience with Assisted Living Facility"
My mom couldn't use her space due to health. We asked many times for vacuuming. The community was generally clean. Staff, especially front desk, was friendly. Care was lacking; promised more than delivered. Old building made access difficult. Not worth the cost; couldn't handle her needs. Found others' items in her room. Management ignored concerns repeatedly. Activities were good, varied, and engaging. Trips offered, but not accessible for my mom. Great if mobile and communicative; limited care otherwise.

""Lacking Staff Friendliness at Assisted Living Facility, Except Residents""
I've never encountered staff as unfriendly as at this facility. When I walked in, they just looked at me and didn't say anything or even try to smile. Sure, the place looks nice, but the people make or break a facility like this. From the top [name removed] all the way down to someone who seemed to be in charge of activities, no one knows how to interact with people. There's a serious need for some customer service training here. It looks like bad attitudes are infectious because everyone acts the same. Come to think of it, the only person who bothered to say hi was the receptionist—an older lady with blonde hair. She was really nice, unlike the other one with short black hair. Next time, please be nicer to everyone who walks in. You never know who might come in. I guess they missed that part in training. But don't let me stop you from seeing it for yourself. Maybe you'll have a better experience than I did. P.S. The half-star is for the residents, who were really pleasant.

"Assisted Living Staff are Caring and Quick to Help"
The people who run the place and the workers really care about the residents and they always help quickly when needed.

"Bickford Bexley: A Solid Choice for Elderly Care"
My mom has been at Bickford Bexley since June 2018. The food is better than average, with a nice variety. At 92 years old, my mom thinks the meat is good but sometimes dry and tough. The staff is friendly, although turnover seems high. Management needs improvement—monthly staff reports would be helpful. Despite some issues, Bickford remains the best choice for my mom due to its small size, easy access, and great activity director.

"Warm and Welcoming Assisted Living Facility with Great Care and Security"
I felt safe right away because staff buzzed me in. Their cute mascot was lying on the floor and loved getting petted. The place had a nice, old-fashioned feel to it. The manager was friendly and gave me lots of info to help me decide about my Mom. They offer all levels of care, from short-term to independent living, which was perfect for my Mom. A nurse joined our meeting and explained the different care levels and costs. She was really nice and knew her stuff. They have good amenities and activities, and the front porch rocking chairs were a nice touch. I would definitely use this place for my Mom’s respite care. It's a bit pricey, but totally worth it. It’s a smaller facility, which means they focus more on each person.

"Nice Place, Great Food, but Small and Crowded"
My husband stayed here for respite care, and we thought it was a nice place. It's an older building, so the rooms and bathrooms are small, the hallways are narrow, and the whole setup feels crowded. However, the ladies in the kitchen definitely know how to cook. Everything is made from scratch, and it is excellent.

"Great Care and Clean Facilities for Loved Ones"
I liked the tour at this place. They offer a lot of great care for people who need extra help. The community was nice, clean, and well-kept. We suggest other families visit this community for their loved one's care.

"Not suitable for mom's needs; decent tour experience."
My sister visited, but it wasn't right for my mom. They didn't have the right rooms she needs a two-bedroom with a living room. Also, the location wasn't good for her. The tour itself was fine, and the person who showed us around was nice.
