"Staffing and Services Need Improvement"
Think twice. People who live here say the food is cold. It's hard to talk to the staff. When you send your laundry, you don't always get your own clothes back.

"Affordable due to rate lock; caring staff a welcomed bonus."
The room's price staying the same is what made it affordable for us at Bickford, so that's why we picked it. The staff being so great was an added bonus. They truly care about the people who live there.

"Beautiful facility with terrible food; management unresponsive to concerns."
My family member lived here for a while, but we decided to move her elsewhere. The place looks really nice both inside and out. There's even an extra dining room for families to use. The nurses and caregivers are really nice and helpful. But, the food is just awful. Really, really bad. The chef is only 21 and she doesn't like cooking. Instead of making meals according to the plan, they often serve hot dogs. One time, my family member got completely frozen onion rings for dinner. It's been a problem for a while. We talked to the people in charge many times, even had a meeting, but nothing changed. The food is so bad that I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone I know. I hope they fix it soon because everything else is good.

"Entryway Lacks Welcoming Atmosphere"
My family visited the place and the folks were really friendly, but when we stepped into the entryway, it just didn't feel very welcoming.

"Communication Needs Improvement"
The food is yummy, but talking to them is hard. Our family member's been there for a bit, but we're always chasing after them for info. We have to call over and over just to talk to someone, and it feels like the bosses are never around.

"Homey Assisted Living with Friendly Staff and Yummy Food!"
The place is nice—just got a makeover. They even have an ice cream shop! The staff is super friendly, and the food smells amazing. Plus, they’ve got a memory care unit on one floor.

"Bickford’s New Staff Brings Joy and Care to Residents"
My husband moved to Bickford last August after being at Sunrise. The old staff didn’t want to change their ways and made it hard for the new staff. They left and went to another Sunrise place. The new staff at Bickford is amazing, caring, fun, and attentive. Life is much better now that the Bickford way is in place. The old staff still tries to get residents to leave Bickford, which is sad and wrong. I’m glad we stayed, and my husband is happy on the Memory Care floor. Thank you, Bickford staff, you are wonderful!

"Facility Needs Improvement"
This place looks kinda old and not so well kept. Also, it seems they're short on staff. Didn't seem like they're taking care of it properly, and there were some empty rooms.

"Welcoming Assisted Living with Helpful Staff and Clean Environment"
The workers were really nice to my family and ready to lend a hand when needed. Whenever we visited, the place was tidy and had a cozy feel.

"Mixed Experience with Assisted Living Food Service"
They changed owners in the first six months, and things haven't been as smooth as we hoped. My mom needed in-room food service, which was an extra perk, but it was very inconsistent.

"Disappointing Service and Unexpected Costs at Assisted Living Facility"
My mom got help during the day, but at night, she often had to wait for over 45 minutes on the toilet before someone came to help. This is not okay. After she died, we were billed for a new carpet costing $700. No one told us about this expense, and I never received a bill even though I asked for one. There were more problems too, like the staff forgetting to take her to the doctor. They said laundry was included, but that only meant the bed sheets. Considering the high price, I expected top-notch service.

"Not Impressed: Assisted Living Quality Declines Under Buckford"
Ever since Buckford took charge, we've noticed a decline in care quality. Despite their claims of no changes, they've actually made some, like expecting families to provide certain essentials. This puts a strain on spouses. The cleanliness of both patients and the facility has worsened. We've raised concerns multiple times, but nothing has improved in our situation. Overall, not impressed.
