"High Staff Turnover, Poor Care at Assisted Living"
Honestly, there are some super kind nurses at this place. But even they say it’s best to leave. They’re always short on staff. I just can’t suggest anyone go there. It’s like the nurses change completely every couple of months. There’s hardly anything fun to do there. A bunch of the helpers don’t really know what they’re doing and are mean to the folks living there. In the seven months my folks were there, they saw 4 different bosses, over 5 people in charge of the nurses, and a bunch of new nurses came and went. The good nurses left because they felt really bad about how things were run.

"Bright Atmosphere and Friendly Staff!"
At first, they told us one price, but after 15 days, it got more expensive. Still, we love the bright atmosphere and friendly staff. We'd recommend this community to other families.

"Disappointing Assisted Living Experience"
This place kept asking for more money to take care of my dad each month. We picked it because the people who work there are nice. But there aren't enough staff around to help out. And when someone is sick, they don't offer any special foods like soup or jello. In just two months, my dad fell so badly that he had to go to the hospital twice.

"Mixed Feelings About Brookdale Finneytown"
The people who work at Brookdale Finneytown are friendly, but they don’t share a lot of information, and sometimes they say different things. My mom enjoys the food, but she doesn’t want to eat in the lunchroom. Unfortunately, the facility often smells like urine, which I guess is tough to manage. Overall, it’s okay, but there might be better places.

"Helpful Staff, Cozy Facility"
The female staff at Brookdale was really helpful during my first visit. She shared lots of info, not just about Brookdale but also the whole process. The facility was nice, but the memory care area was small and tucked away behind a locked door. If you need memory care, I'd rate them a 3. For assisted living, it's a 4.

"Feels like home with good care and communication"
We moved Dad from a nursing home to Brookdale Finneytown's Memory Care. We're much happier with his care here. The staff really knows my dad and our family. It feels more like home, not like a hospital. Housekeeping is mostly good. Communication with our family is pretty good too. We had a few issues getting clear answers, but they got fixed. I would recommend them to family and friends.

"Expectations and Safety Concerns at Assisted Living Facility"
It's a nice place. Staff are kind and try to help. Before choosing, ensure it meets safety needs and your expectations for care. Staff might not fully meet higher expectations.

"Personalized care for memory care residents; staff shortages noted."
We really like how they have a smaller community for the memory care residents. This means they can give more personalized care. Right now, they're short-staffed like many places, which affects some things. They bring in outside agencies, so those workers don't know the residents as well as the regular staff. Overall, we would definitely suggest Brookdale Finneytown to others.

"Mixed Experience Overall"
The assisted living facility has some issues. Staff turnover is high, and the food quality is terrible. While a few staff members are excellent, agency staff don't provide good care. Response time for help is slow, and billing is problematic.

"Billing Issues but Affordable; Could Improve Communication"
Sometimes it's confusing to figure out our bills. We were told they'd fix a mistake, but the next bill had the same problem. That's two bills now with the same issue. Compared to other places, their prices are reasonable. They're not trying to squeeze every penny from you.

"Positive Stay at Assisted Living Facility"
My husband stayed there for a week while I was away. The staff treated him nicely, and the rooms were spacious. Unfortunately, there was no TV in his room. Overall, it was a good experience.

"Assisted Living Facility Needs More Activities and Better Food"
The place doesn’t have much to do for residents. I wish there was an activity room. My mother-in-law doesn’t enjoy the food. But the rooms and layout are nice. The outdoor area is only for memory care residents on the first floor, which makes it tough for those in Assisted Living. The staff is nice and helpful.
