"Uncomfortable Experience at Brookdale Assisted Living Facility"
My dad and I visited Brookdale recently. They had snacks, but the lady we met made Dad uneasy. She talked more about money and moving in than getting to know him. It seemed like they didn't have enough staff, though they were friendly. They don't seem to have separate housekeeping; the aides do both, which worries me. I wouldn't recommend it. I heard they change managers a lot, which is another worry. Dad decided he's not ready for assisted living and wouldn't choose Brookdale.

"Lacks Personal Touch, Overall Nice Facility"
We visited this place in person and found it nice and fancy. The staff seemed friendly, but they didn't seem to connect with us because we weren't very interested. It wasn't really personal, but that's okay, not their fault.

"Friendly community with a few issues"
I think this is a very nice place, and the people are very friendly. I just had one experience where I had a concern. They could have told me about it at the start, but they didn't. Now it's causing a problem with payments. Make sure you read and understand everything before you move in.

"Clean, friendly community with pet-friendly atmosphere and daily activities."
Mom is settling in fine here. She's made friends already. When I visit, we always stop by the ice cream room. The place is really clean, and they let people bring their pets. The food is okay, and they have things to do every day. I think you should check it out if you're looking for a place for your loved one.

"Assisted Living Helped Mom Quickly Despite Mobility Challenges"
They were really helpful when my 93-year-old Mom couldn't stay at another place because she needed extra help with her leg. The first place said she couldn't stay there anymore, so we had to find another place fast. Kimberly Bland was willing to help us even on a weekend, and she made sure we could move Mom to Sterling House.

A Place For Mom Customer
"Assisted Living Facility with Courtyard and Flexible Dining Options Wins Approval"
This assisted living facility is all on one floor with a central courtyard. The circular halls surround the courtyard, and units have patios facing it. Residents can request items for meals. They offer a $100/day "short stay" option to try out. Condos are available for visitors, and there's independent living too. Overall, it's our favorite.
