"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living"
From my perspective, there are a couple of “issues” at the assisted living facility. First, their food tracking system isn’t efficient, which leaves Mom confused about her dinner count. When she asked, they told her to wait until they had time to check. This sets her up for unexpected charges down the line. On the bright side, Mom mostly enjoys the meals, although quality disappointments have occurred a few times. Regarding activities, it’s a mixed bag. Mom’s interest in the shuttle to stores is often met with a full list and a two-week wait. The walking club, unfortunately, keeps getting canceled after piquing her interest. Mom’s reluctance to join things compounds the disappointment. Overall, though, she’s making friends, enjoying her home, and appreciates the helpful staff! 😊

"Long waitlist, questionable practices."
I visited Brookdale Trillium Crossing, and they had a really long waitlist. I also felt their business practices were questionable.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
1. My mom was often sick and in the hospital there. Since moving, she's been healthy. 2. The cleaning service needs improvement. 3. The apartment was dirty when we moved her in. 4. Maintenance didn't fix things properly. 5. Billing was messy at move-out. 6. Might be good for some, not for us. 7. Possibly better on the assisted living side. 8. The resident garden needs wheelchair access. 9. They host nice parties and celebrations. 10. Happy hour is enjoyable. 11. Food is great for non-restricted diets. 12. Lots of resident outings available. 13. Happy hour is a hit. 14. Happy hour is a hit. 15. The pool is a nice amenity. 16. Events and celebrations are well-done.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
They offer a year-round heated pool for water aerobics and a significant discount for moving in early. However, there are issues with billing and understanding meal plans. Due to varied plans, getting accurate information can be challenging. Overall, it's satisfactory.

"Brookdale Trillium had inconsistent care, causing physical harm and extra costs."
We had to move our 101-year-old mom to another place. We had to deal with many different health and wellness directors. Most of the helpers who looked after our mom were staff from agencies. Because of this, she didn't get steady, consistent care. It often led to them accidentally hurting her because her skin is very thin. She had to get treatment for skin tears a lot. The care plan that she was paying for wasn't fully carried out. We held many meetings to talk about her care, but we didn't see any changes from the staff or the bosses. So, we had to spend around $2,000 more each month for private services. This cost was on top of what we were already being charged. The facility only gave our mom very basic services. Anything extra was up to us, her family, to provide. If you're looking for an assisted living place, I'd really recommend that you don't choose Brookdale Trillium.

""Misinformed, Overcharged and Underserved at Assisted Living Facility""
They said my family member would be right at home in their building, so we arranged all the details and moved in. But just after a week or so, they claimed my family member required special end-of-life care that they couldn't provide. Despite only staying for one week, they charged us for two months of unutilized services. Thankfully, we managed to get our money back in the end.

"Great food, activities, and facilities; housekeeping needs improvement."
The food here is exceptional, and our mother loves it despite being picky. The apartments are in excellent condition, and there are many activities and community events. The pool with water aerobics is fantastic, and having assisted living on site is great since our loved one won't need to move. Our only concern is the housekeeping. They say it's included twice a month, but it seems like the service is brief and might not be thorough.

"Friendly staff, communication issues, nice apartments."
It's really tough to reach the staff. I have an unpaid bill, and when I call and leave a message, they never call me back. That's my main issue. But everyone is friendly. They come out to say hi. Even the director asks if I got a call back, but then nothing happens. The apartments are nice, though. They're clean, with new carpet and fresh paint when someone new moves in.

"Insalubrious Pond and Neglected Wildlife at Trillium: Beware!"
I'm not sure how Trillium treats its residents, but their treatment of the on-site pond and the wildlife living there is truly awful. Another poor duck died by the shore today after feeding off trash in the pond for a week. I've tried to clean up Trillium's pond and raised several concerns to both the corporate office and local managers. But Trillium has done nothing to take care of their pond and won't hire professionals to clean it. It's not pleasant for the residents to see, and it's even more upsetting up close. As I was picking up trash, the smell of death and decay was unbearable. Plastic bags, styrofoam, and other trash were in and around the water. We spotted three dead ducklings floating amidst the trash. When I talked to the on-site manager, she only cared about appearances and wanted the wildlife gone. This place doesn't care about the community, the environment, or animals. I suggest finding a better place for your elderly loved ones.
