"Bright Beginning, Dreary Ending: Mixed Assisted Living Experience"
We picked Carriage House because our friends had parents there before. They were happy on the assisted living side, so we thought it would be good for us too. But, it turned out differently. The assisted living area was clean and bright, just like we expected. However, the memory care side was not. It was dull and gloomy. We hoped it would be as cheerful as the other side, especially considering the cost. It felt like they just tucked it away in the back of the building, away from everything. It made us feel sad. There's a lot of room for improvement.

"Poor Care in Memory Care Unit Leads to Mom's Injury"
My mom got really bad care in their memory care unit. She lived there for less than a month before she died. A few times when I or another family member visited, we found her on the ground in her room. They never called me when she fell. The hospital found out she had a broken collarbone when they moved her there before she died.

"New Staff, Poor Care: Disappointing Assisted Living Experience"
The place has all new workers now, and they're really bad. They always lie to cover for each other. There are lots of new people coming and going because they're not permanent staff. I wouldn't suggest this place to anyone. When I checked it out, they said they could handle skilled nursing and whatever else my dad needed. But now they've kicked him out because they couldn't take care of him. They don't keep their promises from the beginning. They don't have skilled nursing, they don't even have hoyer lifts.

"Friendly Staff and Nice Facility!"
We almost picked Carriage Court as our favorite – the place was great, and the staff were super friendly. It's an older facility, but still quite nice. Plus, they keep in touch with me via email and calls.

"Cozy Gathering Area and Friendly Staff in Welcoming Assisted Living."
When we first walked in, we were impressed by the main gathering area, especially the lovely fireplace in the center. It feels very welcoming. The lady we met, possibly from the sales team, was wonderful. There's a good balance of male and female residents, which we liked. We enjoy visiting; overall, our experience is positive.

"Communication Issues but Loving and Caring Staff"
We had some issues with communication between the head nurse, nursing staff, and the on-site doctor/PA. Carriage Court wanted us to go through them for medical communication, but there was a breakdown. I think they're short-staffed, like many places, which made communication harder. They offered activities, but there was a lull when the activities director changed. They were likely trying to find the right person for the job. The staff, in general, were very good. Everyone seemed very loving and caring toward my mom. We had a couple of small issues, but overall, it was above satisfactory.

"A Welcoming Assisted Living Community"
So far, they’ve been great! The staff is friendly, supportive, and attentive to our loved one’s needs. The facility is well-kept, bright, and welcoming. I appreciate that they mix assisted living residents with independent living residents, treating everyone as part of one community.
