"Poor Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
Don't go here. They make you think they'll help with medicine, but then it's hard to get it back so the resident can take it. They took some of her important medicine too. When she left, they either took a lot of her things or didn't tell me to pick them up. The food was either cold or not good to eat.

"Food quality and limited participation."
Our loved one doesn't like the food, so we bring them meals a few times a week. Unfortunately, their physical condition prevents them from joining the activities.

"Not Ideal Care Experience"
I don't think any community will make you super excited. The price for room and board is okay. But I'm not satisfied with the care my loved one receives. The staff only bathes them twice a week, and the shower chairs they've sent have all been wrong. Finally, after sharing pictures of the correct shower chair, the medical equipment company got it right. My loved one has been here since June. There are only 39 rooms in this community, but the staff often forgets residents' needs or causes delays in getting necessary items. They don't inform me about my loved one's needs until they run out of medication or personal items. And when they do provide items, they just toss them into the room without arranging them. Unfortunately, my loved one doesn't enjoy the food.

"Clean and friendly, but not a perfect fit"
I visited this place when searching for care options for a family member. The facility was clean and well-maintained, and all the staff I met were friendly and professional. While the size seemed right, some hallways would have made him uncomfortable. It just didn't feel like a good fit for his personality.

"Perfect Place for Mom with Great Food and Personal Care"
Chestnut House is a great place for my mom. The cozy, small setting allows for personal attention. She can keep her independence, but still get help with laundry and cleaning. The meals are healthy and there are many different food options.

"Overall positive with minor suggestions."
Chestnut House is a cozy spot. A few tweaks needed, like power washing outside. Overall, we're happy.
