"Affordable and Friendly Assisted Living with Initial Communication Hiccups"
The cost was right on budget! It's one of the cheapest independent living facilities around! It was actually the only one I could find that fit my budget! Everyone at Claremont is really friendly and helpful! The initial communication with the marketing team about move-in and forms wasn't great, but we eventually got it sorted out. Once she moved in, they set up great care to help her live independently!

"Family-Friendly Assisted Living with Great Communication and Activities"
Claremont has been really helpful and nice to my loved ones and family. The best part is that my loved ones could stay together in the same apartment. The staff communicate well with our family. They are quick to respond when we have questions or concerns, and they keep us informed about any changes regarding our loved ones. There are activities for the residents to join in. I don't think the community provides transportation for the residents.

""Disappointing Assisted Living Facility with Issues in Care and Management""
I wouldn't suggest this place for anyone. It didn't work out for us to take care of my family member. The team running the business had problems. They lost my payments sent through mail. Paying online was always a problem too. The activities didn't impress us and nobody told me about them. I asked several times for details to sign up my family member for grooming and other things, but it was really hard to do. I also asked them many times to schedule routine upkeep, but it never happened. We had to ask a family friend to come and shave him. We'd find him dirty and still in his pajamas when we visited. He'd stay in his pajamas the whole day. He was able to walk when we first moved him in, but in a few months, he was mainly using a wheelchair. He put on weight there and we couldn't find out what food he was being given, even though he was meant to have food good for his heart. On the bright side, the nurses giving him personal care were really nice. But neither my family member nor us were happy with him staying there.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Community"
This community was pleasant, but the prices were a bit steep compared to others. It lacked activities and was farther away. Still, it wasn’t bad; another community suited my loved one better.

"Lack of Interaction and Nighttime Care"
Independent living was awesome. But assisted living was separate from it. There was hardly any mingling between the two. Initially, they had a nurse around all the time, but then they changed it to only daytime hours. So, if someone needed help at night, they just sent them to the ER without telling us beforehand. Also, they wanted to charge us more even though they were providing less nursing care. Independent living was fine, but the move to assisted living left us feeling like they isolate residents and don't offer enough activities.

"A Cozy, Engaging Home for Seniors"
This place feels just like home. It’s cozy, welcoming, and full of fun activities like theme nights, Margaritaville parties, and outings to restaurants. They really keep the residents engaged!

"Friendly staff, happy residents, decent food variety, big portions."
This place has had many new workers coming and going. But the folks who are here are nice. I don't stress about my family member here. Actually, they're content. The meals offer lots of choices, and they give out big servings.

"A Safe and Caring Home"
Claremont Village is a wonderful place for residents. I've been here for 3 months and found a home for myself and my dog. It's safe and the staff really care. I can relax knowing that any issue will be fixed with just a phone call. I appreciate that this place runs well because of the amazing staff. The Managing Director has put together an excellent team to take care of all of us.

"Claremont Retirement Home Lacks Communication and Care for Residents"
I had to swiftly find a nursing home for my dad due to his dementia, so I picked Claremont Retirement Home based on its cheap price. I was new to the whole process of caring for someone after they'd been in a Rehab facility from a serious fall. My experience with Claremont has been nothing but frustrating, as they hardly ever get back to you. And when you do get through, you are usually passed off to another person whose voicemail box is invariably full. Despite my dad being there for 3 1/2 months now in their Memory Care, I haven't received any updates about his wellbeing or improvements. I am aware they get a report from the Rehab Facility before admitting him. I don't advise anyone to choose this place unless you're looking for something affordable. I am currently on the lookout for a better place for him, now that I understand the standards and care to expect from a retirement or nursing home.
