"Neglected Patients at Wexner Heritage Village Assisted Living"
Wexner Heritage Village is possibly the most disappointing assisted living facility you could consider. In the section for skilled nursing, they're quick to administer a surplus of medications, especially for dialysis patients. As a patient, you have to stay vigilant about your medication schedule and health care. In the said nursing area, I had to personally dispose of my mother's waste. The towel and cloth situation was equally dismal, appearing as if they've been in use for years. Considering the significant per-patient insurance payout, it's absolutely shocking that there's no professional laundry service. The linens and toweling provided were inadequately cleaned, with clear evidence of blood stains. The same issues were apparent in The Cottages. The furniture, blankets and linens gave the impression of being either donated or borrowed. Expectedly, the staff was predominantly kind to my mom. Some even expressed doubts about the assessment that placed her in that section of the facility despite her mental lucidity. One striking incident occurred just before my mother's passing. She was left unattended in her day clothes for over eight hours after dialysis. Taking matters into my own hands, I had to clean and bathe her, dressing her nightwear on her last night. Everyone in the facility seemed ravenous during mealtimes, possibly due to poor food quality. My mother, unable to stomach the food, was regularly given nutritional supplements like protein shakes and bars. The facility had an underwhelming variety of activities such as yoga, music, and stretching classes. Despite mention of 'Respite Care', it turned out to be a sham. From a payment perspective, hefty charges followed the termination of insurance cover. Overall, the level of care was truly subpar for the prices they demand. To sum up, I wouldn't even leave my dog in their care. Their patient assessments are performed by non-specialists, which brings the credibility of placement into question. Despite having an assigned doctor on paper, there was no sign of actual medical supervision in all the 49 days of my mother's stay there. For future families considering this facility, be wary. I was filled with apprehension from the day my lucid mother was thrust into an environment fitting for the severely mentally challenged. Without a functioning phone, she was isolated and unable to communicate unless I personally visited. Even after her passing, there were no grief counseling services offered, contrary to their pamphlets. So, that's my unfortunate experience with Wexner Heritage Village.

"Poor management and resources at this assisted living facility"
The nurses here are terrible. The head nurse is great though, and always has time to help with my aunt's issues. But, the people in charge above him aren't doing a good job and only cause more issues between the nurses. I heard that my aunt is losing weight because the food isn't good and they can't provide enough hot water for everyone who lives there. You should look for another place.

"Assisted Living Facility Offers Nice Apartments and Good Meals"
The apartments are really nice. The meals are good overall, with plenty of options including two entrees, soup, salad, dessert, and drinks. The public areas are pleasant and always kept clean. It's a bit pricey, but they offer yoga, exercise, and music programs.

"A Comfortable Home with Caring Services"
They have lots of fun activities, friendly neighbors, and cozy apartments with kitchens and laundry. Medical help is right here, and they even provide transportation for appointments. Plus, they clean the house every two weeks, which puts my family at ease.

"Poor management, bad food, substandard nursing at this facility"
The people who run this place clearly aren't up for their jobs. The meals they serve are awful. The nursing care is below average. And just try getting help in a hurry - that won't happen, especially at night when they're usually short-staffed.
