"Terrible Communication and Care at This Memory Care Facility"
The main problem I had with this memory care facility was their lack of communication. I talked to a bunch of people in charge including staff and caregivers, and even though they promised to keep my family informed about what's happening with my loved one, they failed to do so. The rooms are bare, meaning you gotta bring your own stuff, including a mini fridge, which can be hard to haul in and out. They didn't do a good job cleaning, despite saying otherwise. Some of the employees were not friendly or seemed like they didn't care. The food didn't look good at all, especially the lunches, which were just a bunch of deli meat sandwiches. They didn't do a good job with managing medications either. There were too many problems that made this place a horrible choice. I'd rate them zero or even lower if I could.

"Hasty decision and inadequate care at assisted living facility"
I really wasn't a fan of this place. It felt like just an ordinary apartment and that's not what we were searching for the care of my family member. My loved one needed more help and a community that could offer additional support. I felt like they were pushing me to make a fast decision for my family member's care.

"Friendly Start, Disappointing Stay"
At first, when you join this community, the staff is super nice and they talk a lot. But once you become a resident, that changes. Based on what I've seen, I wouldn't suggest this place to others.

"Widespread Bruising, Dehydration and Poor Care: The East Park Experience"
I shifted my mom from East Park after spending three years there, she was covered in bruises and had severe sores on her bottom and feet. East Park insisted these wounds had healed the week we left... they were lying. After moving her to a different nursing home, she was found to be still covered with bruises. Moreover, she had also been suffering from dehydration. My mom had dementia, and the staff at East Park, blinded by overmedication and lack of training, made her battling and aggressive. The personnel there didn't have any clue how to cater to dementia patients. I urgently warn you to stay alert. For your loved one's sake, avoid that dreadful place.

"Mom's complaints about broken fridge, noisy furnace, and low toilet."
My mom has a bunch of complaints. First, the fridge was broken, and there's a hole in the door. She's worried about the noisy furnace, but they haven't fixed it. Also, she needs a higher toilet, but no solution yet.

"The apartment had issues; it's low on my list."
Hi, I thought the apartment was okay, but it felt small. The unit she showed me smelled like old cigarette smoke or something. The toilet needed cleaning; there was a black ring around the top of the water line in the bowl. Overall, I'd consider this one at the bottom of my list.

"“East Park: Good, But Some Issues Remain.”"
East Park is a pretty nice place overall. But there are some problems that haven’t been fixed yet, like the sliding door in my loved one’s room and the hot water. Other than that, things are good. The staff is helpful and responsive, and they’re trying to get her a walker with a seat.

"Clean and Helpful Assisted Living with Friendly Staff and Activities"
This place is really clean and I'd suggest it. They help by giving my mom the diet she needs. Every day there are activities. The staff is nice and we talk well with them.

"Great staff and facility, mom is happy and settled."
My mom is really happy at O'Neil Healthcare, and so are we. We like the staff, the place, and everything it offers. She's settled in nicely. Thanks for the help!
