"Decent Facility, But Not Quite Right for Grandparents"
We checked out several places, and this one was okay, but it didn’t really wow me. It didn’t seem like the perfect fit for my grandparents. The people working there were friendly, but nobody got in touch with us after we looked around. The place looked neat, though.

The place is nice, and the staff are friendly. The call buttons on the necklace are handy for getting help. But I’m disappointed that they don’t have the special diets the doctor ordered, like low salt and gluten-free. Communication with family needs improvement—I wasn’t notified of a significant change in my family member’s condition. Therapy is minimal, which is disappointing. On the bright side, there are lots of activities available, although playing bingo all the time gets old.

"Balancing Compliments and Critiques for Assisted Living Facility"
The assisted living center is really nice, with friendly staff. It's cool that the call buttons are on a necklace so help is always within reach. Nevertheless, it's quite disappointing when the doctor orders a special diet but it's not available. Options such as low salt and gluten free should be offered. The way they communicate with us as a family is not good. When my family member's condition worsened significantly, nobody informed me. This really shakes my confidence. Information only seems to come when I visit and ask questions. The amount of therapy offered seems quite limited, which is a letdown for my family member who needs to build strength. It's good that they offer a lot of activities, but maybe they should include more variety in games. Always playing Bingo can become boring.

Elmcroft of Lima has been great so far. The place looks nice and clean, and the staff are really friendly. They’re always ready to answer my questions about my loved one’s care or set up a meeting if I need to talk to them in person.
