"Disappointment in dining service and staff rudeness."
The person in charge of meals really needs to step it up. I brought up my mom's special dietary requirements and was totally ignored. Honestly, it's a wonder this place is still open. On top of that, she was extremely disrespectful and seemed way too busy to handle my concern.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
I thought most of the staff were nice and helpful. But the bosses don't do much. Cleaning is okay, but it depends on who does it. They communicate okay, but you have to ask again for answers. Moving in was okay, but they need to make sure everything works before you move in. Most of the meals are bad - burnt, small, and badly served. They need to listen to people's concerns better. It's hard to get them to follow up. They should hire more staff, especially on weekends. I wouldn't suggest this place.

"Mixed Experience at [Name Removed] Assisted Living Facility"
Overall, my visit was pleasant. However, interactions with other staff felt hurried, like they were eager to finalize agreements. It seems they may be short-staffed. The facility is clean, nicely decorated, with beautiful grounds. However, the quality of care is lacking. Using on-site services was confusing and rushed, lacking explanations or friendliness. Considering external services due to this. Meal options are varied, and dining staff are friendly. Missing an introduction or new resident coordinator makes settling in challenging.

"Too Spread Out for Comfort"
The people working here are really kind, but the place is too big and not what we were hoping for my family member. It doesn’t have a cozy feeling, and there’s a lot of walking needed, which made it hard for them.

"Family Considering Leaving Evergreen due to Poor Service and Maintenance"
My family members haven't really felt comfortable at this place. They've faced issues with upkeep here, and the slow response has been disappointing. They're thinking about leaving and ending their rental agreement. Their whole experience has been terrible. Attempts to relay their issues to Evergreen have produced unsatisfying responses.

"Unsatisfied Loved One; Lack of Activities"
We don't have a lot to say yet, but what we've noticed is that our family member isn't pleased with the food they're getting. Plus, there aren't any activities happening at the moment.

"No Refund for COVID-Related Charges"
The assisted living community required us to pay extra upfront. Unfortunately, when our loved one passed away, there was no refund despite additional charges due to COVID.

"Mixed Feelings on Assisted Living Staff and Care"
The place didn’t have enough workers, and they didn’t always take great care of my family member. Some of the workers were okay, but others didn’t do well. I don’t think this was the right place for my family member.

"Cash-First Approach Over Care at Evergreen"
Evergreen cares more about cash than your family members. They may make things sound great at first, but they can't live up to their words. We were really let down and can't suggest them.

"Mixed Feelings About This Assisted Living Facility"
The visit was okay. They showed us different types of apartments, which was cool. But it costs more than other places, and they don't offer as much help. It's better for older folks who can manage on their own.

"Headline: "Appalling Care at Wellsprings Rehab Leads to Veteran's Death""
My brother stayed at Wellsprings rehab for about half a year. He was a proud veteran of the Marine Corps from the Vietnam War. The quality of care he received was below average. He suffered from a bed sore, urinary tract infections, and complications from CLL. It took them months to provide him with the right mattress for his sores. Assistants and nurses took forever to respond to his cries for help, often taking more than an hour. Their excuse was always the same: "We're short on staff." The staff was disrespectful and verbally abusive towards my brother and his visitors. Despite being in a rehab center, he didn't receive any rehabilitation services. They had no idea when the therapist would come when asked about it. My brother passed in December 2018. I wouldn't wish this place on my worst foe.

"Abysmal care and staff at this assisted living facility"
I truly can't understand how this place has any kind of rating at all!! The standard of care is just awful, and I wouldn't even trust my pet with the people working there. They're rude, unconcerned, and extremely unprofessional. They seem to be only interested in sitting back and gossiping. Don't you dare interrupt them, or you'll face severe backlash. Please, if you value your loved ones, find another place for them!!!

"Exorbitant Cost Does Not Match Quality at Memory Care Facility"
This memory care facility is a total rip-off! DO NOT let your relative live here! You need to fork over more than $6,000 a month, but the care they offer is awful. Yes, there are a handful of employees who actually care, but generally, the service is a joke considering what you're shelling out. You'd expect to get this kind of service at a Medicaid site, not at one that costs $6,000. The cleanliness in their rooms is disappointing (dirty, uncleaned messes, mold inside cabinets), and the hygiene of the residents is neglected (rarely brushed teeth, washed hands, clipped nails). They didn't even bother when we had to ask for these basic services! Don't expect them to take responsibility for misplaced items like glasses, hearing aids, or shoes. I get it, things can get lost, but for them to be lost forever, with them refusing to compensate for replacements, is unacceptable, especially since it happened while under their care. Staff members are more engaged with their phones than caring for residents, leaving them unsupervised and letting them just sit around watching TV in the common room. The unit's management is too overwhelmed and ineffective to facilitate any improvements for residents. The new boss, I hate to say, is crafty and deceitful. Don't expect a straight answer or a proper response to your inquiries from him. The sales team only care about roping you in to the place. They promise to accommodate residents' preferences, but that's all a sham. You'd better get everything they say written down. We were told my relative wouldn't have to move to a Medicaid facility when the money was gone, one of our main worries, and they promised they would be able to stay. That's what got us to sign up, but they scammed us and took all our money, only for us to end up having to move them to a Medicaid site, which is precisely what we were trying to dodge. That being said, the independent living is nice, but only if you’ve got the dough. You’d be better off picking a continuing-care facility.

" "Expensive facility disappoints with poor care and deceptive practices""
This assisted living facility isn't worth the hefty price! Don't even think about placing your loved ones here. It's over $6000 per month, but the care is awful. Only a few workers actually seem to care. The rest make you feel like you're in a cheap, Medicaid facility. The spaces they live in aren't clean at all, there's always some mess or even mold. They don't even keep those they're looking after clean, things like trimming nails or brushing teeth are rare. They take no responsibility for lost items, like glasses or hearing aids. Workers are super into their phones instead of looking after those who need care. Most times, residents are just left alone watching TV. The people in charge don't know how to properly run things, so don't expect any improvement. The new boss at Evergreen isn't trustful, won't give you truthful answers or even bother responding to your questions. The sales team is just there to tell you everything you want to hear, but don't trust them, it's all lies. We were promised that my father wouldn't need to move to a Medicaid facility once his money ran out, but that was clearly a lie so they could take our money. They just run on lies here. Okay, I do have to say, the independent living here is alright if you can afford it. But, my advice is, go to a place that offers continuous care instead.
