"Great Choice for Caring and Friendly Assisted Living"
We were searching for the perfect place for our mom, and as soon as we visited The Gables, we felt it was the right choice. The Gables is clean, modern, and welcoming. The price is fair, and the staff is both professional and friendly, always ready to answer questions. We would definitely recommend it to anyone who needs extra care and has specific needs.

"Feels Like Home Away from Home at Assisted Living Facility"
It feels like a second home. It's not exactly home, but it's the next best thing.

"Neglect and Mismanagement at Assisted Living Facility"
They practically said my loved one should be independent, despite us shelling out loads of money for enhanced care. They utilized many temporary workers and were severely understaffed. The place looks lovely, and you'd think it would be superb, but it wasn't. My loved one would phone me at night needing assistance because no one would respond when he pressed his call button. He was promised two showers each week, but they’d always come up with some excuse and he’d be lucky to get one. His medication was always delivered very late, if at all. They insisted we utilize their pharmacy, and penalized us if we didn't. If you can live there without needing help, it might be a good place for you, but if you need any care, I'd say avoid this place.

"Impressive Assisted Living with Great Food!"
The place was gorgeous, and the staff were super friendly. Mom thought it was too big, but I was really impressed. The food was amazing, and they even sent us home with some.

"Caring Assisted Living at The Gables"
We had a hard time finding a place for our Aunt because she had a serious bed sore. The Gables accepted her and has been working closely with Hospice and us to take care of all her needs. She’s comfortable and clean, and the receptionist and unit staff are always friendly and helpful. We’re very pleased.

"Moved mom from poor facility, in new place, health improved."
I swapped my mom's housing to this home's memory care unit. I had several dietary concerns that were not addressed. She landed in the hospital from what the doctor believed could be dehydration, one of the issues I had brought up. After a mild stroke, they didn't offer a needed walker until Hospice managed to get one. When Coronavirus started, Gables sent out an email saying any patient testing positive would be taken out of the home and we'd have to take care of them until they were virus-free for two weeks. I immediately reached out to the state ombudsman and that rule was changed. When I switched her to a different home, though I'm not an expert, I was struck by the noticeable improvement in care and how fast her health got better. The Hospice staff were really happy with the care and procedures there (and they quietly told me how superior this new place was). She got better to the point where she could leave Hospice.

"Slow Response, Needed Quick Admission, Decent Virtual Communication"
We talked with this place online while finding a spot for my family member. They sent us stuff, but they took a while to get back to us. We really needed a place that could take them in fast.
