"Caring Staff and Great Activities"
This place is good. The staff is very caring, and my parent is doing well there. There are lots of activities. We picked this community because of the apartment setup, cost, activities, and how close it is to me.

"Great Community with Friendly Staff and Fun Activities!"
My husband and I have been here for more than two years. The staff and residents are really friendly. Even though the staff might be stressed and working hard, they always put on a happy face for us. There are lots of activities for residents, like book clubs, puzzle clubs, and walking clubs. Plus, outside entertainers visit each month with music and interesting talks. The dining room serves balanced and tasty meals. If a resident doesn’t like the main dish, there are other options.

"Affordable with Staff Turnover"
We visited this place and thought about it. The building seemed a little old, and we heard they had lots of staff changes. The price was lower, but there’s more to think about.”

"Unimpressive Assisted Living Experience"
I wasn't a fan of Brookdale Gardens at Westlake. The place felt dark and gloomy, and the room they showed us didn't impress.

"Mixed Experience at Brookdale Gardens Assisted Living"
The Brookdale Gardens community is clean with friendly staff. Services may experience delays when help is needed. Communication can be improved. Despite this, residents highly recommend it for excellent meals and diverse dining options. Activities are plentiful for residents' enjoyment.

"Bad Facility Condition and Poorly Trained Staff"
This place is in bad shape. The leaders don't do a good job. A lot of the nurses and helpers are from agencies and aren't trained well. The previous owner had a good reputation, but the current one doesn't live up to it.

"Disappointing Experience at The Gardens Assisted Living Facility"
My mom thought she got better care here than elsewhere. I wouldn't recommend this place to friends. The staff treated me poorly. My family member fell and had to go to the hospital and didn't come back. My family member's spouse couldn't remember where they went. I had to stay with my loved one. The staff didn't like me being there and were rude. I had to hire an outside agency to stay with them 24/7. The Gardens doesn't have memory care. The food wasn't good either.
