"Assisted living lacks care priority; nurse unfriendly; food overrated."

I visited Harbor Chase and the place looked fancy, but what bothered me was when they said, "the food is our top priority... and of course care too." People trust these places to take care of their loved ones. When food matters more than care, that's not right. They should open a restaurant, not an assisted living facility. The nurse I met wasn't friendly either. It wasn't very welcoming despite the nice building. People pay for care and peace of mind. I hope they realize that's more important than fancy restaurants.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living"

In the assisted living facility, staff turnover is common, but the place is clean, and employees are friendly. My mom received good care, although she declined quickly. I'd choose a different doctor next time.

"HarborChase Falls Short: Understaffed and High Turnover Issues"

We weren't as happy at HarborChase as we expected. It's a nice place, but lots of people, even managers, leave within 6 months. I think they don't have enough people working in memory care - it's too big for the staff they have. I heard there are too many temporary nurses, and they aren't as good as the regular ones. They aren't trained well for some situations. We moved our loved one to a smaller, better facility.

"Mixed Experience at HarborChase of Beavercreek"

My family member lives at HarborChase of Beavercreek. The staff turnover here is high. Given the current lack of resources, it’s tough to retain employees. Maybe offering stay bonuses and improving management would help. While my loved one is safe, the overall system could be better. I’d recommend this facility only if you’re actively involved, but that’s true for all places!

"Great facilities, but too pricey and over-the-top for comfort"

Our family visited HarborChase of Beavercreek and had a good tour. They offer great restaurant choices compared to other places we checked out. It felt like staying at a fancy resort, but it was the most expensive option. My in-laws wouldn’t have felt comfortable there. It seemed a bit too much for them.

"Shocking Level of Care at this Facility"

This place is hands down the most terrible care facility I've ever seen for my family member. I wouldn't even trust my pet dog in their care. The way the management and the support team take care of the residents here is concerning. Honestly, I can't find anything positive to say about this place.

"HarborChase of Beavercreek Falls Short on Care and Communication"

The food at HarborChase of Beavercreek was good, and the environment was fresh and spotless. However, our overall experience was really unpleasant. The team did not pay my dad (who requires extensive care) any attention, and they were poor at keeping my sister and myself informed. We shifted our dad to another center last month. I would strongly advise against HarborChase of Beavercreek. They were extremely short-handed. I understand that many places are, and it is not entirely their fault, so I gave them a little bit of leeway for that. Regardless, the administration was very unsatisfactory, and they did not seem to show any concern.

"Assisted Living Concerns: Staffing Issues and Unmet Expectations"

The place looks nice and food's okay, but staff's not enough. Since my family's been here, lots of important people left. We've been waiting forever for a meeting about my family's care, but when it finally happened, the person who was supposed to help us quit right after. We're easygoing, but it's tough seeing so many people leave. We help each other out, but I worry about what would happen if my parent needed a lot of attention.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Community"

The community is great, but families need to be available to support their loved ones. Staff communication could be better, especially when answering family questions. There are three daily meals with choices, but mealtime can take a while. Residents eat together, which helps those in memory care socialize. The dining room is clean and organized, but there’s staff turnover.”

"Great Choice at Harborchase!"

We really like Harborchase of Beavercreek. Although they've faced staffing challenges like everyone else, we're very happy with our choice and would recommend it to others.

"Great community, just too far for our family"

Our family took an in-person tour and really, really liked this community. We would have gone further with them, but in the end, the location was just a little too far out of the way.

"Understaffed but Promising"

It looks pretty good so far, but I suggest having visitors come often because they're understaffed like other places.

"Great Place with Discounted Rates and Friendly Staff"

We picked HarborChase of Beavercreek because they had a special discount for open rooms. It's a newer place that is really clean and easy for family to visit. The rooms are great in size. The administrative team was excellent at helping us get her settled in. They have lots of fun activities for residents, but my mother couldn’t join in. The menu also had many good choices. The staff was friendly and always ready to help, working together really well. Overall, it was a good experience and I would recommend it.
