"Inconsistent Communication Mars Otherwise Good Care Experience"
My mom receives great care from the aides in her villa. They're caring, helpful, friendly, and easy to talk to. They keep us informed about her needs and it's affordable. However, the higher-ups don't do well with keeping us informed. Managers change about twice a year, which makes it hard to know who to talk to. For instance, when her villa had bed bugs, we weren't told for over two weeks. During that time, they threw away all the furniture, even her grandmother's chair. I contacted one manager, but they had already left. It took weeks to find out who replaced them. Finally, I had to contact the Ohio Ombudsman to resolve our furniture loss.

"Assisted Living Facility Making Improvements Under New Management"
The place had lots of issues: stuff vanished, meds mixed up, food problems, messy rooms. But with new bosses, it's getting better. Hopefully, it stays that way.

"Concerns Over Staffing Affecting Care"
The place had some trouble with not having enough staff. I know this isn’t just happening here; it’s a problem lots of places are facing. Still, it worries me when it might mean my family member doesn’t get the best care.

"Improving, but inconsistent care; decent value for private rooms."
The place is getting better with new management. It doesn’t smell like other places. My family member reads the newspaper at the kitchen table, just like at home. But sometimes, the caretakers forget to bring them out of their room. This leads to inconsistency in care. Some caretakers don’t pay attention and my family member stays in their depends too long. But others try to get them out of the bedroom. Overall, the private room and bathroom for the price are good.

"Poor management and disrespectful staff at assisted living facility"
This place seriously needs a new team to manage things. Initially, we were attracted by the concept of the villas and it all seemed pretty good. But not long after, we noticed that the bedsheets in my relative's room were left untouched for weeks. The meals served were mostly still cold from the freezer and lacked the warmth of a home-cooked meal. Moreover, the employees there didn't seem to have the right kind of training. They dressed unprofessionally and didn't know how to deal with people properly. Worst of all, my family member was missing their necessary medication. One of the staff members was particularly disrespectful and totally rude.

"Poor Service and Safety Concerns at Assisted Living Facility"
We moved mom into the villas in September, drawn in by the cozy home-like idea of a smaller space with a max of 12 residents per home. It sounded perfect for her needs, so we were hopeful. Unfortunately, our optimism dwindled after just two weeks. The service wasn't good; they promised fresh bed linens weekly, but it rarely happened. Her room wasn't cleaned frequently enough, and the meals left a lot to be desired - mostly cold sandwiches or frozen food. But the real issue - and our primary worry - was about mom's safety. The staff members were caregiver aids, but they seemed to lack proper training. Some of them were okay, but too many of them made the place unsafe. They were responsible for medicating the seniors, but they messed up mom's regimen more times than we can count. One of them even thought it was okay to play rap music during their shift and ignore the residents. To top it off, we found out residents were left unattended for an hour when a day shift worker was late, and the night shift worker just took off. This is just scratching the surface of the problems we face.

"Heritage Villas Decline Frustrates Dementia Patient's Family"
Two years ago, our relative with dementia moved into Heritage Villas because it was affordable. Back then, the place was neat and suited our family member. However, the place has gone downhill over the last two years. They didn't assist her when she stopped changing her clothes or bathing, saying it was her decision. It was clear that they didn't know how to handle her situation. Her room wasn't cleaned anymore. She even started sleeping on her bedspread without changing her clothes. Eventually, we moved her to another place where she's now thriving.

"Cozy and Friendly, But Simple Assisted Living"
The staff here are super nice! This place isn’t as big or fancy as some others I’ve seen. It’s got a bunch of little houses instead of one big building. It’s not the fanciest, but it was just fine for the week my mom stayed. It feels more like a regular house than a big hospital or something.

"A Comfortable New Home"
I really like living here since I moved in. I feel good and everything is going well for me. The people who work here are nice and always ready to help with a smile. It's a safe community that I feel good in. I'm all settled in and would tell my friends and family to come here too. It's a nice place to be.

"Unique Setup and Clean Environment in Cozy Assisted Living Facility"
We liked this place because it's set up differently. Instead of separate apartments, they have rooms, with a shared dining and living room area. There are only about 13 residents here. It's really clean. My loved one doesn't complain about the food, and even though I haven't tried it, they just got a new chef.
