"Subpar Care and Food, Friendly Staff"
I thought this place would be better, but it's not. The caregivers don't help enough and the food is awful. The building isn't very clean, but they try. It's old and not meant for this. The staff is nice, but they can't fix things. They don't have enough people working here. The food is worse than what I had in high school. Even the staff doesn't eat it; they order food every day. They have lots of activities, but my mom doesn't join in. This was the biggest place we could afford for her. I regret choosing it, but I won't move her again. If they had better staff, I might consider it, but not now.

"Friendly Community with Room for More Weekend Activities"
I would recommend this place. The people here are really nice and friendly. My loved one likes it here. Overall, it’s been a good experience for us. It would be nice to have more activities on the weekends in the memory care area.

"Warm and Welcoming Assisted Living with Great Staff"
My 90-year-old dad and I live at Kensington Place. From the first tour, we felt welcomed by the staff and residents. The place is clean, has lots of activities, and the dining room serves tasty breakfast and dinner. The dining room staff are always friendly and eager to help. They treat the residents with respect and care, which warms my heart! I work during the day, but my dad has plenty of chances to socialize and do what he likes. I feel safe leaving him there, knowing he’s well taken care of. I highly recommend this place!

"New Management Causes Decline in Assisted Living Facility Quality"
Since the new boss, Renee took over, this place has gotten worse. The food is just okay, and today we didn't even have breakfast because the chef didn't come in! There aren't enough helpers or nurses, so you might need to wait half an hour before someone can assist you. There's no one managing things on weekends or in the evenings. This place is run really badly.

"Assisted Living Concerns"
The care and services are mostly good, but there are issues. Ever since the new director came, there aren't enough aides and nurses. They work hard, but there aren't enough of them, so sometimes the care isn't as good as it should be. Waiting for help takes longer now, and some small tasks don't get done, like dishes, clothes, and trash. This is frustrating because my parent is paying for these services. Also, the food isn't as good as it used to be. It seems like they're using cheaper meat and not making desserts from scratch anymore. They're not providing some of the amenities they used to offer. But I want to make it clear that the aides, nurses, dining hall staff, and desk staff are all wonderful. They really care about the residents and always have a smile.

"Kensington Place: Warm but Needs Better Family-Centered Program"
"residents on their own, not based on old info that's wrong. We were unhappy with how they did the medical assessments.
