"Unhelpful Staff and Terrible Food at Assisted Living Facility"
This place hires the worst staff from any old agency! They just hang out at the nurses' station, chatting up a storm. And if you dare ask them anything, they give you this look like you're ruining their day! I've overheard a bunch of other people grumbling in the halls too. The aids aren't supportive at all, and the meals are just plain terrible!

"Great Place for Religious Seniors with Friendly Staff"
I would give Mount Alverna Village a great rating. It's been a good place for my mom. She's very religious, and having the chapel with mass five times a week has been wonderful. There's also a Franciscan nun who visits her, and they've become good friends. The facility is very clean, but they are having some staffing shortages like many places. Overall, it's been a very good experience.

"Not Suitable for Non-Catholic Residents"
Our family visited this community in person. It seems to be more focused on Catholic beliefs, but our mother isn't Catholic or religious, so we didn't feel it would be a good fit for her.

"Clean, Friendly Assisted Living with Extra Costs"
Really nice place with only a few units. Clean and good dinner attendance. Costs more than other places due to phone fees. Laundry service covers towels and bedding, but personal laundry isn't included.
