"Great value and friendly, helpful staff"
We chose this place because it's close to my home. The value of the services for my mom's condition is great. The staff worked with me to set everything up. I would recommend it. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

"Unresponsive Staff and Privacy Breach at Northgate Park"
I wouldn't suggest Northgate Park. The staff isn't there when they're required and are pretty slow to react. They also break privacy rules by letting other residents know personal details.

"Community Feel with Active Lifestyle and Spacious Rooms"
It felt like a community, not just a care place. People we met were friendly. Residents were active, which was important. Mom loves it here; started with respite care, chose to stay. Recently, she said she wants to be at Northgate Park instead of home. Everyone is friendly; staff quickly learns residents' names. Activities daily, optional outings like store trips or lunch out. Rooms are spacious with private patios. I visit weekly; common areas are lively. Recommend Northgate Park for independent or assisted living.

"Assisted living cost similar, caring staff, minor initial confusions, good experience."
To anyone thinking about it, make sure you have plenty of money because Northgate Park isn't cheap to live in or move to. Assisted living places can cost a lot, and Northgate's prices are similar to others. The staff care about residents. At first, there were a few confusions, but I think those were just normal issues as things get started. Overall, my time here has been good.

"Nice place, but too big for us."
We had a nice tour at Northgate Park before Covid. We got to see everything. It all looked good, but it was just too big for our family.

"Inconsistent Care and Overestimated Needs"
The first assessment they did for my loved one was too low on the amount of help she needed. Within the first week of moving in, they raised her care level by three levels. It felt like they did that just to get us in. Since then, we've met with them to go over her care plan step by step, and they did take it down a level. I don't think the staff is all on the same page. Her personalized care plan isn't always used in how they take care of her. If you're thinking of bringing your loved one here, they should be very self-sufficient, or you need to be ready to help them. We're very involved in her care plan, but we hope it gets better over time.

"Nice Inside, Needs Exterior Update"
The outside looks old, but the inside is clean. The staff was friendly. It's not super fancy, but still nice.
