"Affordable Care, But Just Average"
I chose this place because it was affordable. My brother didn’t have a lot of money. There were other places that looked better and had more stuff to do, but they were too expensive. The care was alright, not great. When my loved one’s time was almost up, we moved to a different place where the care was nicer.

"Friendly Staff and Activities, Food Needs Improvement"
The staff was quick to help, especially one nurse who stood out. There were lots of activities for those who wanted to join in, and the other residents were nice. My loved one wasn’t too happy with the food, but I’m not sure what changes could be made. Overall, I would recommend Oakleaf Village of Columbus to others who are looking.

"Friendly Assisted Living with Just-Right Apartments"
We picked Oakleaf Village because it’s close by and familiar. Mom knew some folks from her condo complex who had a good time here. The apartments are just right—not too big, not too small. The nursing staff, especially [name removed], is great. Everyone’s friendly and helpful. Overall, we’re happy and would recommend them.

"Pleased with Oakleaf: Kind staff, mom adjusting well, activities participation."
I've been happy with Oakleaf so far. The staff is friendly and as helpful as my mom allows. She's feeling more at home and joining activities.

"Average Stay at Oakleaf Village Amidst Lockdown"
Our time at Oakleaf Village has been pretty okay. They did a great job helping us move in and settle down. But there’s been a case of covid, so the lockdowns are a bummer. The meals aren’t his favorite, either. Apart from that, things are alright.

"High-Priced Facility Needs Major Improvements"
Considering the high monthly fees, they should really spruce up the facility. The hallways are gloomy, the woodwork is scratched, the carpets are worn out, and the rooms lack enough sunlight.

"Great food and staff, scenic tours available"
The food here is usually good. The staff is great, but sometimes you get an aide with an attitude. They also have transportation to the store if you need it. I like that they have scenic tours to go on.
