"Mixed Experience with Medicaid Process at Assisted Living Facility"
The facility seemed nice, and I heard good things about them. They weren't very clear when I asked about Medicaid, so we chose another place.

"Disappointing Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
They had some activities, but didn't encourage my loved one enough. Staff shortage evident. Visits revealed neglect, even pre-Covid. Hindered belongings retrieval.

"Overworked Nurses and Poor Treatment in Medicaid Senior Area"
If you're a self-paying resident, you probably get better care and living conditions. But the section for seniors on Medicaid on the second floor above the physical therapy center is a different story. The nurses are too busy and have too many tasks. Giving out medicines often takes the night-shift nurse away from her other duties. It's too packed, and the patients get treated harshly often. If a patient needs help from two people, the only other staff member on the floor has to assist.

"Mixed Feelings about Assisted Living: Homes Great, Location and Access Issues"
I really liked the separate houses they offer. It's nice that Mount Pleasant can handle buying and selling our home if needed. The location isn't the best, though. We're still waiting for solutions for Tom's mobility around the area, but they said they'll follow up with us. It seems like Tom might be their first resident who is blind.
