"Neglected Facility with Poor Medicine Management and High Staff Turnover"
If I could, I'd rate them a zero in everything. We've noticed garbage sitting around for days, and worn-out paint and wallpaper falling off walls and roofs. Also, people are not getting their medications on time, if at all. If we had the money, we'd relocate her immediately. There's no consistency in care and they can't keep staff around.

"Mom's new community: friendly, supportive, and accommodating environment."
We checked out two places. The second one didn't let us reserve a spot, and when I passed by, I didn't like the area. The place we chose matched her needs and wants best. Everyone has been nice since Mom moved here. They were very helpful and made everything easy during our tours.

"Assisted Living Facility Needs Better Patient Care and Attention"
I want the nurses and helpers to take better care of the patients by answering calls quicker. Don't leave them in their wheelchairs too long because it can hurt their skin and make their blood flow worse. I have someone I care about at Park Vista. I see the nurses and helpers when I visit. Park Vista is clean and I hope they keep the helpers. It's annoying for the patient if they have to wait a long time to get out of their wheelchair or if they call for help and nobody comes. They need to do better at taking care of patients.

"A Second Family for Mom"
After my dad passed away 16 years ago, we checked out different places for seniors to live nearby. We ended up choosing Park Vista. The reasons were its location, safety, activities, and the friendly atmosphere. I'm sure my mom's life has gotten better since she moved to Park Vista. She's super social and considers herself part of two families: her own and her Park Vista family. I think her time here has even extended her life! I'd give Park Vista 5 stars, but there's been a parking issue for the past year.

"A Disappointing Assisted Living Experience"
This place claims to help with cleaning and meds, but they didn't. They also said they'd check on people if they weren't seen by 1 pm, but that didn't happen either. Plus, the food wasn't flavorful, and they didn't give much.

"Avoid: Staff Steals Personal Items, Poor Care at Facility"
This care facility is lousy; the nurses are terrible people. Someone on their staff has taken our belongings and clothes. Be warned about the individuals working here.

"Great Care and Kindness at Assisted Living!"
I had my brother and sister-in-law admitted to the assisted living facility during the pandemic because their care was too much for me at home. I was very happy with how caring and kind the staff were, not only to my family but also to me. They went above and beyond to ensure I could bring them donuts daily. The staff even helped me with the cell phone so I could speak with my family every day and provide them the care they needed. A big thank you to all the staff at Assisted Living!

"Inadequate Care, Negligence at Local Assisted Living Facility"
Steer clear of this place. Except for those running the games and activities, the rest of the staff take 1-5 days to even answer a question. The person in charge of the whole operation seems completely lost. He's let helpful, experienced workers go and instead hired folks who work for less pay. It's my experience that when you pay workers less, you get a lower level of care. This has been the case for my grandma, who was left with a painful, untreated stomach infection. She also rarely got physical therapy, missed important doctor visits, and spent much of her time alone when she was not strong or healthy. I get that there's a pandemic happening and maybe the home is short-staffed. Still, not being able to talk to a nurse for a quick chat during their shift or touching base with the therapy director for weeks isn't acceptable. Neither is missing important medical visits. The care given here is not OK. I've filled complaints with the local senior care authority and the state health department. I advice you not to send anyone you care about to this place.

"Park Vista Assisted Living Review"
I’m upset with the new owners of this place. Even though it’s a tough time during the CoVid pandemic, I think they could do better. Before my Mom moved to Park Vista, we heard great things from other residents who loved it. But now, current residents complain about how it used to be. The cleaning person is supposed to come every other Monday to Mom’s apartment. But they didn’t show up for 5 weeks, and now they show up unannounced on random days, rushing through the job in just 15 minutes. The dining room is closed due to the virus, so they deliver meals to the apartments. But it’s inconsistent, arriving within a 2-hour window, sometimes left in the hallway with barely a knock. The food quality has also declined. We’re working with management to fix these issues, but improvements are slow.

"Neglectful, sad, and understaffed; better care elsewhere."
If you're considering this place, think again! Understaffed, neglectful, and sad atmosphere.

"Warning: Lacking Staff and Low Quality Care in This Facility"
The aide nurses are great people but they're run ragged. There aren't enough nurses around, so even getting a pain-relieving ibuprofen tablet can take 5 hours. The physical therapy sessions, which should be 1-2 hours daily, only really involve 15 minutes of work, and you spend the rest of the time just sitting around. In my opinion, the physical therapy is nothing special, or worse, a dishonest use of Medicare. Despite being told my mom could see doctors electronically, it never happened. Her urinary tract infection went untreated for over a week. You shouldn’t choose this place unless you have someone who can fight for basic care access.

"Positive outlook on staff and facilities in assisted living community."
We're optimistic for our family member. Staff is skilled and steady. Facilities are spacious and well-equipped. Suites are larger than others we've seen.
