"Paramount Assisted Living Falls Short on Promises"
I recommend finding another place. We moved my dad to Paramount in March, but recently got a letter saying they're closing. They promised space in their new facility nearby, but it didn't happen. Now we're moving again. I paid for May, and I'm fighting to get my fees back.

I felt like Paramount at Westerville was really old and not well-maintained. The colors were dull, and the living spaces were too small for the price.

"Quality Care and Excellent Value"
Our family member stayed at the assisted living facility for two weeks for respite care. The staff members were very nice to us. We're not sure about the food because our loved one had to have all her meals turned into liquid or pureed, but the staff were always very careful and helpful with this. We thought the cost was very fair for the good care they gave.

"Great communication and activities, but add schedule to newsletters"
The new director sends out email newsletters to keep everyone updated on what's happening and any new changes. So far, her communication has been excellent. It would be helpful if the newsletters included the activities schedule too, so residents and families can plan appointments without conflicts. There are plenty of activities available and a good variety of things to do. They also test all the residents for COVID, which I really appreciate. The facility is smaller, and they encourage residents to get out of their rooms. I would recommend this place to others and already have; my father is very happy here.

The community offers good value and is more affordable than other places. The overall staff is excellent, but the medical staff lacks professionalism. We had a problem with our security deposit, which took 6 months to return.

Paramount Senior Living is doing their best during these tough times. I feel for the lonely residents who are so isolated. But I know this is to protect them, and the staff is making sure they stay in touch with loved ones and celebrate special days like birthdays. My dad tells me every day that he is well taken care of. That’s the best review anyone can get!
