"Untrained Staff, Inadequate Care at Memory Care Facility"
This isn't a good place for memory care. The rooms weren't cleaned consistently. The staff gave minimal assistance to residents, like helping them shower or in the dining room. I feel like the residents were given too many meds, making them upset and sleepy. The staff there is not good at all. They don't know how to handle people with dementia or Alzheimer's.

"Underwhelming Assisted Living Facility Tour"
We visited this place and saw everything and talked to some staff. The tour was alright, but we realized it wasn't good for our family member.

"Lackluster Care and Neglect Found at Assisted Living Facility"
My stay here wasn't good. Similar to other families, we wanted to move our family member. Sure, the pandemic threw things off, but we still can't ignore some issues. Food came out cold a lot. Baths weren't happening as much as needed. My family member's bathroom was nasty for 3 days before cleaning. The head honcho was barely there. They weren't having enough aides and nurses all the time. I saw these problems weekly since I visited twice per week. One time around 6pm there wasn't any nurse or aide present. It worried me. One night, my diabetic family member's sugar spiked. They had an aide who called a nurse, but the nurse said they only give insulin to residents 3x daily and at set times. They didn't have enough staff and things weren't running right. I moved him to another place. I don't suggest this place to anyone.

"Inconsistent Staffing and Communication, Be Actively Involved"
They change workers a lot here, which makes it tough to reach someone. They lost the person who plans activities, but it’s getting better now. Keep an eye out because of this, as you might not get all the help you need. You gotta stay involved to make sure your loved one is cared for properly. Sometimes temporary staff come in, so things might be missed. Just stay on top of things.

"Nice staff, but concerns about remodeling and bathroom storage"
The place is going through remodeling soon, and I didn’t want my loved one to be there during that. The public bathroom had some storage stuff in it too. But everyone was very nice.

"Mixed Feelings About Spring Hills Singing Woods"
We’re not feeling very good about Spring Hills Singing Woods right now. They recently had a Covid lockdown, so all the residents were stuck in their rooms. Nobody really came into my loved one’s room to help her move or exercise. Overall, aside from Covid lockdowns, I think they could have been more attentive to her well-being. But the staff I’ve met seems great.

"Bad Experience and No Therapy at Spring Hills Singing Woods"
I'd warn folks about what happened with my mom at this place. She took a nasty fall and needed to be here for physical therapy. They said she'd get it, but she didn't get any therapy the whole time she was here. I only found out because I called to check on her schedule. They didn't think to tell me. At first, they were good about communicating, but then they started ignoring my calls and not following up on my mom's care. We'd try calling while talking to my mom, but no one answered. Even when I called the director, she couldn't reach the staff. They're understaffed with only 1 employee for around 80 residents overnight. Our experience with Spring Hills Singing Woods was bad. I wouldn't tell anyone to use them.

"Great Staff and Care!"
The staff at this place were amazing! They took fantastic care of my mother and treated her like family. One thing I considered when choosing a place for my mom was whether I would want to live there, and I definitely would! The facility was very clean, tidy, friendly, and had lots of activities. I’m so grateful for the excellent care they gave my mother!

"Mom's Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
Mom has been doing okay since moving here. There have been some challenges, but we're working through them. Mom will do the activities if someone comes to get her, which was one of the challenges at first. Mom has a nice patio right off her apartment, so she can sit and enjoy the weather when it's nice. They have a secure outdoor courtyard, so no worries about anyone wandering off. The food is excellent. The community is well-kept and maintained.
