"Good for Independent Seniors, Needs Some Updates"
This place is a great value for someone who doesn't need a lot of extra help. The building could use some updates to look better for new residents. There seems to be a lot of staff turnover, but the ones who stay are very good at their jobs and are kind and friendly. My mom has gone on several activities and had a good time. I'm happy with their transportation services, and she uses them to get to her appointments.

"Springfield Assisted Living: Homey Feel with Some Downsides"
We'd pick Springfield Assisted Living again because it's the only one around here with its own back porch and yard. Feels more like a home or apartment than other places. The food is really bad, but we buy extra groceries to make up for it.

"Nursing care lacking, friendly staff. Prescription management needs improvement."
The staff was nice and friendly, but we were disappointed by the nursing care. They need to manage prescriptions better and evaluate residents when their behavior changes.

"Good facility with a few issues, great for families and pets"
The aides don’t always check if the call button is working. They do clean the apartment and take care of the laundry. My loved one seems to like the food, but I wish they offered more fresh fruit. We chose this place because it's near family, has an apartment with a wooden deck, and allows pets.

"Springfield Assisted Living: Cozy, Pet-Friendly Senior Apartment"
Springfield Assisted Living is a great place for seniors. It feels more like a cozy apartment with outdoor access, allowing pets. Staffing issues exist, but overall, it's been good for my mom.

"Mixed Feelings at Springfield Assisted Living"
The Springfield Assisted Living facility felt quite big and not as welcoming as our chosen place. My first impression was that it seemed a bit gloomy.

"Brookdale's Takeover Doesn't Improve Rude, Unprofessional Assisted Living Facility"
I moved my mom here and soon afterwards, the center was sold. The staff members are impolite and lack professionalism. I thought Brookdale taking charge as they appeared good, might make things better, but nothing changed. They retained the same staff and continued the same routines. I didn't waste much time in shifting mom to another place. That was a few years back, it's possible that conditions have improved now.

"Caring Staff and Good Experience, with Room for Improvement"
My mom, who's 86, stayed at Grand Court for 12 days. It gave me a break from caregiving. The nursing staff was great, showing they really care. Mom liked the food, but sometimes it wasn't warm enough. When she told them, they fixed it fast. The staff always made things right. Even with some staff changes, they kept activities going. Mom loved it there and will go back in the Fall. She wouldn't want to be anywhere else, and I agree.

"Nice place, but too independent for our loved one's needs"
We visited this community while searching for care for our loved one. Everything here looked great, and the staff we talked to were friendly. But it seemed like this place was better suited for people who are more independent, which might not have been the best fit for our loved one.

A Place For Mom Customer
"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
The apartment was bigger than Sterling House, but the hallways were narrow. Instead of a zero-entry shower, they had a bathtub cut-out. The overall cost, including additional expenses, matched Sterling House.

"Friendly Assisted Living at Grand Court"
Grand Court was really nice. I talked to the director, who was friendly and knew a lot. Definitely considering it.
