"Misleading Advertising, Poor Care, Understaffed: Not Recommended for Elders"
We wouldn't suggest this place to a friend because my mom didn't get good care in her last days. They don't have enough workers to help everyone. Their ads make it seem like they have nurses around the clock, but they don't. We chose it because it looked like the best deal, but if we knew then what we know now, we wouldn't have picked it.

"Disappointing Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
This place looks clean, but it's not. Staff make mistakes with medicine. Communication is poor. Understaffed on weekends. No responsibility from management. Aides not trained properly. Meals lack calories. Lost 20 pounds. Promises not kept. Husband came out weak. Items stolen. Lack of care.

"Overall, some improvements needed."
This place is better than where my loved one was before, but there's still room for improvement. Staff should be more aware of our loved one's needs, and communication with the family needs improvement. Some staff are good to work with, but the washing machines need fixing.

"Great care, room needs work."
They handle meds well and provide friendly one-on-one care. Room cleanliness needs improvement, but the marketing person is outstanding.

"Friendly staff, cleanliness, and good care, but room for improvement."
Overall, it's been good. Staff is friendly, but cleanliness needs improvement. Meals seem fine, and activities are available.

"Disappointing Experience: Staff Turnover and Lack of Activities in Assisted Living"
We chose this place because we liked some staff, but they've all left, causing chaos. They're short-staffed, so things aren't done right. Since she moved in, they've never had enough staff. We always have to do what they should be doing. We picked this place for the activities, but they don't have any because they can't find a director. They're raising prices by 8%, but we're not getting what we pay for. They can't handle the people they have, so I wouldn't recommend it. We're very disappointed.

"Mixed Feelings About The Ashford"
The Ashford is a great place with friendly tenants. We’d suggest it to other families if it suits their loved ones’ needs. But because of the high staff turnover, we feel we need to be there daily to check on our loved one.

"Clean, friendly, good program; staff helpful despite shortages; recommend for activities and food."
We chose The Ashford because it was very clean, everyone was super friendly, and they have a 2-year payment program transitioning to Medicaid. The girl who showed us around, [name], was great. They're facing staffing issues like everyone else, but the existing staff go the extra mile. I'd advise others to communicate clearly from the start due to staffing shortages. It takes time for them to understand your loved one's needs. The administrative staff are hands-on. They offer plenty of activities, and residents enjoy the food. I'd recommend them to others.

"Good Care Despite Staffing Issues"
I think the biggest problem right now is they don’t have enough staff. My loved one has had issues with getting her room cleaned properly, but they’re working on fixing that. They’ve also had a Covid outbreak. But overall, things are good. The care is good. She seems to like the food and the activities. They’re just having staffing issues, like everyone else right now.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living"
They claim to serve tasty meals, but the food is terrible. Portions are tiny, and the quality disappoints. On the bright side, the rooms are pleasant—we'd give them four out of five stars. Depending on health needs, we'd recommend this community.

"Improving Care and Service at Assisted Living Facility"
The beginning was a bit slow. They had some problems with the staff, but they are improving. They are doing really well now. The care is really good. The food is disliked and considered awful by my loved one. It has no salt, so it tastes terrible.

"Beautiful but too private"
The place is really pretty and private. The only thing is, it's so private that it's hard to know how good and available the care and help will be for someone who needs extra assistance.
